As long as you're not in a gully with steep walls on both sides ,as far as you can see.... The water will hammer you and your vehicle into scrap...☠️

My only connection to Minden is that I ate at the McDonald's there once. But now I notice the restaurant moved about a block north. What's up with that?

The old one had that ancient equipment and design that needed people (you know, "employees") to produce product. The new one is sparkling clean and subtly discourages people from coming inside. Online ordering with multiple drive throughs, digital kiosks inside and out, if you do go inside entire front counter is manned by one person. Plain Big Mac, 3/4 the size of the old ones is $6.15. That's what's up.

They moved it across from the “in-town” sewer plant….to mingle the two smells together…now that end of town smells like Oakland California…makes the transplants feel at home.

You have never seen and you dont know how to drive in high watewr so stay at home. You dont continue driving at speed in high water when you have an approaching car. Slow down to a crawl. You do not want to have a wave of water. Think driving you boat around the marina, Its a no wake zone. If you spend a considerblle amount of time driving in deep water be prepared to spend time servicing your vehichle, Checking your fluids, oil make sure there is no water in it, you shoud change it anyway, repack your berings in your hubs, check trans fluid, aslo watch for water in you vehicle

Minden is a neat town. Hope the flood waters don't create hazardous conditions. Flooded roads are to be expected. Rivers have to drain.
