Mindo Butterfly Garden: 1000s of Butterflies in the Cloud Forest!

The Mariposario de Mindo is a butterfly garden in Mindo, Ecuador, that boasts thousands of butterflies. The butterflies even land on your fingers and head. It's so cool through the fluttering of their colorful wings amidst the flowers and orchids found throughout this Mindo butterfly farm. There are thousands of species of butterflies in Mindo and a few dozen of them can be found right here.
This Mindo butterfly garden is $7.50 and we spent about an hour lingering there. It's called the Mariposario de Mindo and is located a few kilometers from town.
