She purposely did the choreo wrong to show them even the best of the best can get things wrong and you just have to try again and never give up, that’s my opinion

That’s what I was thinking too. She was showing the girls that small mistakes are ok and happen to even veteran performers so that they are less likely to freak out about possibly making a mistake in the future.

The senior panel verdict for this performance always confuses me, but I guess one group had to be the “winner” and the “loser” for the drama or whatever. And it never fails to annoy me when people critique a ballad performance for being too stationary and having rehearsed / kind of stiff choreo…my brother in christ y’all gave them the sit down song and are complaining about them sitting down. 😭

We only saw the performance mainly focusing on the ones singing. We were not there to see the whole performance as a whole and absorb the atmosphere. As couch warriors, we should not doubt the professionals at the evaluation of their performances. *Gone was also a sit down song, yet they received praises for it.

@@briaseis couch warriors are the ones giving their opinions like an expert while never stating that they are one. I am just highlighting that we should trust the professional's feedbacks otherwise why do you even have them. You go to a doctor who prescribed medicine for you, and you go back and take your own medication (traditional). Why go to a professional for consultation then?

@@ignatiuschua5268 You can generally trust a professional in matters of technique, but taste is still and always will be subjective (and as such, biased). Regardless, you taking my individual, harmless disagreement with an assessment and turning it into a narrative you crafted in your own head is a choice you’re allowed to make - I’d just love if you stopped tagging me in the process.

@@briaseis I always believe that each of us can have our own subjective opinion since we are human. However, in videos such as this where the criticisms are more about other aspects other than singing, then we should respect the panel. Have you been to a concert? I did with Born Pink. It is vastly different from video as opposed to being live there.
