Before BTS, there was BAP. Like, people know BTS as a group who talks about societal issues and empowerment, BAP does that too. When they debuted, they were as hot as EXO and were touted to be the new leaders of Kpop with EXO. They have a great rapper line and vocal line, enough popularity to succeed, but their company f*cked them up so badly, like how they did with Secret and Sonamoo. After the lawsuit and stuff, their popularity never got back to where it was, pretty much like how T-ara wasn't able to return to the top after all those shit that happened. It's extremely saddening to see such a great, talented group struggle as they are doing now... Even though I am just a casual listener of their songs, I can't deny their talent in composing and producing their own music and the empowerment they provide for their fans and listeners. I'm sure many people have suggested what songs you can react to from BAP so I won't touch on that. But I just want to recommend a song Yongguk did with Jieun of Secret. That song is called Going Crazy and it's really, really good!

Fr when BTS debuted I was so happy to see a group that was like B.A.P. They were the first kpop group I saw that used rap and hip hop the way it was intended,,,I really wish they were still around :((((

Yes B.A.P are actually amazing. They are even better live, it’s actually insane. Seen them twice and I’m always blown away. It’s an experience. B.A.P said it was maybe their last concert together because two of the oldest members have to serve in the military very soon. Also B.A.P's contracts end at different times, I think Yongguk is the first one whose contract will expire and knowing how TS Ent has treated them and their other artists and staff (not sure if you know about this but TS is a whole mess), many of the fans are even begging for them to leave. The ideal would be if they leave and make a new company similar to what Highlight did. B.A.P members have expressed they still want to be on stage together, but you never know what can happen in the future. So we as fans should be ready to whatever the news are: Resign, Disband or Leave. The best we can do is supporting them during this time. B.A.P is a group to love and respect. All the members are very respectable people and they are very hadworking too. They always give us great music. Imo, they are one of the best boy groups this generation. There is something that set them apart from the rest, not really sure what it is, but I only feel like that with B.A.P. Anyways, thank you so much for reacting to them! PS: Their live stages are highlyrecommended. I became a fan at first watching those. Their side tracks are so good too.

One of the best debut songs of all time, no doubt! They were some of the pioneers in making music about societal issues (in kpop), and when they debuted they were as big as groups like EXO. Then their company completely fucked them over and they haven't had the same popularity since :/ Fun fact: Zelo (the maknae, the one who rapped super fast in this) was only 15 (international age) in this! Also, there's a performance version of this song that's pretty sweet, they do some water dancing and it's awesome.

WARRIOR is still the badassest debut I ever witnessed & no one has been able to top it for me to this day 💯🔥 You don't need to worry about them. BYG will never stop producing music. According to the Korea Music Copyright Association top 5 most copyrighted kpop idols are no.1 GD (BIGBANG) no.2 Junhyung (HIGHLIGHT) no.3 ZICO (BLOCK B) no.4 Bang Yong Guk (B.A.P) & no.5 RAVI (VIXX) (the list is from February 2018 btw). The members also have been through so much already that they are a real family. I love them. Im glad you do too. They're my favorite and i hope they find a way to always make music together, hopefully continue with a better company. To much talent and to much of a family to ever end. Hard to believe Zelo is only 21 now, but i am excited for his new solo album since he's my ultimate bias and I've been waiting forever. They never say they will disband but yeah their contract will end soon and i dont think they will re-sign under their agency (the label is a whole mess, plus that lawsuit bap filled against them, the agency didnt even pay them and the staff, i think they have a big problem with the money) plus the 2 oldest (yongguk and himchan) have to enlist soon to the army for 2 years so they wont be together for a long time thats why I wanna say its never useless to discover their music only now because music is a beautiful immortal song :)

B.A.P was the group after BIGBANG that was called monster rookies (BB is not the very 1st monster rookie group, but I now don't remember who was the 1st ever cause it was years before BIGBANG), which means they were popular AF already since debut. They were head to head with EXO at that time, but B.A.P won the title of monster rookies. Warrior was a pretty powerful song in EVERY meaning, on their debut stage they broke 1 of 3 layers of stage because of the dance break in it. When Grammys talked about PSY the very first time, B.A.P were mentioned in it and a photo of them was even pasted in the same article as PSY. Exactly like you said, they brought to literal life the meaning of "ribellious" and paired it up with meaningful lyrics *since debut* in their Power EP all the songs in it are a shout out to the Korean society and how peoples shouldn't take easy mental illness and depression because it is a serious and important topic. B.A.P knows it better than anyone. So, after their popularity taking over South Korea and Japan (at that time both them and EXO were like the hottest topic out there and it's understandable since their songs are seriously high quality music, from the composition, to the arrangement and in B.A.P's case to the lyrics). In 2013 they released their One Shot mini album, full of masterpieces with meaningful lyrics and amazing sounds together with their amazing rap line and vocal line, it was such an amazing mini album that it got noticed even in the U.S when at that time the only groups known were the legendary TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls Generation, BigBang and 2ne1, they even entered in the Billboard charts peaking a #1 with the *_whole_* EP in "World Albums Charts". Since then quite all their discography entered in the top50 World Album Charts but peoples doesn't wants to talk very much about it. Anyways, during this era they started building up a firm fanbase in the U.S performing their songs on 2013 on MTV K at the center of Time Square. They got a lot of attention thanks to this and afterwards they got even more attention with their following song such as Badman (a masterpiece too) and their 1st full album "First Sensibility" full of songs of manyb different genres that peaked #1 on Billboard charts too and stay for a whole week on 1st place and other four weeks on Billboard charts which at that time, a time where social networks weren't as advanced as now, was a big achievement. Especially for a 1 year group. When First Sensibility came tho, all the cards pulled by TSentertainment (their ex agency) turned completely upside down. They started to overwork them till their soul was being pulled out from their bodies to milk out from them moneys for their debts (which are still on and guess what? they still milking their artists, but this time thru lawsuits that have proofs of their mistreatments but the S.Korean governemtn is too blind to see what's right and what's wrong), it came to a point where the boys were going to be sent on WORLD TOUR without being told until the day before their departure. Daehyun even fainted because of how overworked he was, he got sent to the hospital but after few hours he got dragged out to perform with the IV pack on his wrist. On top of that, TSent still mistreated them and they really couldn't take it anymore, so they went on hiatus and pulled a lawsuit on the agency and unlike what peoples at that time said it was for a fair cause. Peoples said they were ungrateful to their company when their company was the one ungrateful to them, they said that if B.A.P didn't pulled the lawsuit they now would still be on top but then they would be mistreated and sad (money makes fame not happiness), they said they were doing it for fame. For fame? They were literally one of the groups at the top of the kpop industry at that time, they had fame already. What they didn't had was a company that rispected them, but they doesn't because they even yelled on their parents faces and fans that could understand them but all the fans who left thought only about themselves forgetting they're humans too. At that time, Yongguk released his first solo since the hiatus started "AM4:44" and Zelo released his first solo self-composed, written and produced (at 16/17 years old) "No Title where they both disses their company and how dirty they work and did their artists and still does. Meanwhile Daehyun went busking in Busan, because he loves singing, he loves music, he loves his fans and he loves B.A.P, so he did it to keep their name still alive. After they lost the lawsuit, even though they had enough proofs, they went back to TS (and still got hated for doing it) to keep stay as B.A.P and returned back stronger as ever with Young Wild and Free from the Matrix EP that peaked #1 on Billboard World Album charts too 🤗 But well,, things still were bad as before, with the difference that now TS didn't even sent them to variety shows and barely gave them the exposure a group has the right to have. They rarely also attended award shpws despite their music charting well. So, yeah, their company sabotated them and B.A.P still payed their bills and debts. They're currently ruining their remaining 2 groups, TRCNG and SONAMOO. TRCNG a rookie group was on a whole year hiatus, while SONAMOO is in hiatus since 2017 and two of the members pulled a lawsuit on TS because they REFUSE to give them a comeback. There's much more to say, but I don't want to sound annoying so that's it xD Thank you for stilp reacting to them, even though quite no reactor (??) talks about them ❤

In 2012, B.A.P was actually predicted to be the future leader of Kpop. Everything that BTS was known for, B.A.P did it first. They even had million dollars world tours so it was unconceivable that they were severely underpaid, lesser than a convenience store worker! B.A.P had everything minus toxic fandom. Today Yongguk (low voice rapper) the leader of B.A.P did not extend his contract so he has officially left the group. Most of us weren't surprised and are even happy for him because their company has treated them like shit. But it's still so sad. BAP's Warrior was the shit! Like, in the whole 2012 debut class, BAP was the most popular and had all the attention. Yup, more than EXO, BTOB, Nu'est, and JJ Project. Everyone was going crazy for them. They had multiple releases that year that did well. Then trouble with their company (hello TS Ent, you fucked over Secret too) happened. They got into a hiatus and they sadly essentially got left behind by their debut peers.

I followed BAP so hard during their debut year and until they came back after the lawsuit. Sadly, the company still treated them like shit after the lawsuit and all I wanted was for them to get out of there. I'm not a hardcore fan as I was back then (I bought their merch and went to concerts) but I still listened to the songs they released. It pains me to watch their old videos because I keep remembering how much of a shame it is that they never got bigger. They had so much potential. They talked about societal issues (which SOME BTS fans claim that BTS pioneered) and mental health (because one of them personally suffers from it). It's obvious that they are just waiting for their contracts to end. Hopefully, they come back in the future under a new company. I know how passionate they are for music and they have said that they are still doing music because they want to and there are people to listen to them.

The leader, Bang Yongguk, just had his contract expire and will no longer be renewing his contract with the company. He just left the company, not BAP. (constantly praying they'll set up their own label) He's also gonna sign up for the mandatory military service along with another BAP member, Himchan, soon. The other members will most likely do the same come the time their contracts expire. 😉 Babyz (fandom name) already expected this to happen actually and majority of the fandom are chill about the news because even before Yongguk's contract expired, BAP has been constantly reassuring the fans that they will always be together as BAP.

oh goodness now I've fallen into the black hole of special year end performances lol, so far I've seen boys from BTOB, Monsta X, BAP, Got7, Nu'est, and AJAX perform "Good Girl, Bad Girl" by Miss A, "Something" by Girls Day, "Mr Chu" by Apink and will probably keep going lol

Just rewatched the performance from 2009 when Super Junior, 2pm, 2am, Beast, Shinee and MBLAQ all got together and danced to the popular girl group songs of the year T.T I miss those days
