My first language is spanish and when I heard the spanish version after hearing the original I was surprised, but when you think about it its normal that the lyrics sound more spicy because spanish has that vibe. Its like "Back for more" by TXT and Anitta. Her spanish lyrics were really spicy. She really showed that she is a latina.

the way i describe it is they let the most prominent mexican instruments shine, trumpets and acoustic guitar sound through with an intimate feel no words no extra stuff that can distract from living in the mood that embodies what latin culture is all about. most other songs with latin vibes only really use drums and a latin drum pattern to hint at latin vibes.

As you said, there's many groups have latino inspired release at some point, so we've had it coming from them eventually 😉 However, not all groups are all succesful with it, because it can seem forced, however ONEUS is doing it amazing. But then again, this is ONEUS, masters of dramatic/sensual music and concepts, so of cause it's good 😊 I don't know if you've read about the concept, but it's based on the classic tale 'The little mermaid' and the members are basically merman princes, who was granted legs temporarily and the song is about the first and last dance, with their human lover. Listening to and watching the song, knowing this, puts another depth into it 😉 Also, speaking of latino kpop releases, your "Lo siento!" outburst reminded me of one of SUPER JUNIOR's three latino releases, with that title 😅 Also, they did a water dance for their 'Otra vez' MV... maybe that's a thing 🤔 I don't really know Spanish, but I know what that means, because of that song 😅 Learning Spanish through kpop songs 😅
