3:38 honestly, it is way way better to allow us to use our own rechargeable AA/AAA batteries than a built in battery (1) it is heavier to ship (2) if the battery goes bad RMA-ing the return will be a pain and you can't just replace the internal battery. This is the same type of situation as the xbox controller vs the ps4 and ps5 controller. With the xbox ones, you can just change out the batteries. With the ps4 controller you can collect a pile of dead controllers that don't charge. So, in my analysis, it seems for convenient and more environmentally friendly to ship without an internal battery. Seeing how many ps4 controllers friends have that literally only last about 30 minutes of game time because the battery has gone bad really changed my perspective on this usb c internal battery vs rechargeable AA/AAA dilemma
