I just finished Maps anabolic advanced last Saturday. I’ve been obsessively consistent with diet and training for almost 5 years. I’ve seen more lean mass growth in the last 12 weeks than the previous few years. I was overtraining very consistently. Now after running AA I’ve gotten more compliments from complete strangers at the grocery store on my physique than ever before in my life. Thanks for writing an amazing program. I did not expect the results ive gotten. Looks like Sal does know a thing or two about training.

I started doing the daily gratitude every day with my kids about a year ago and it’s been such a huge change. The youngest started out having a hard time even thinking of one thing on days when something upsetting happens at the end of the day. Now he easily rattled off two or three. In the beginning if he struggled with thinking of something we would go back and read gratitudes from the previous days and that would help him refocus on the positive.

I've been watching your podcasts for 3 months or so and I've been thinking about doing a powerlifting competition! I'm 105lbs but I've been lifting heavy exactly as you recommend and changing it up occasionally to vary the stimulus and I'm gaining strength so fast I wouldn't believe myself if I didn't see it with my own eyes! Great questions today, nearly all of it was relevant to me (minus the SARMS)!

The best part for me in each episode asides all the great valuable information is getting that real human part of each one of you I believe this is what has made your podcast the best is seeing your real human side and make us love your family and our own through your experiences and stories I go back and think about my own personal life and give back the value where it belongs You are right you can’t hate or dislike someone who loves your kids but the opposite is the same … you can’t love or have a good relationship with someone who doesn’t love your kids ❤

Thank you guys for everything and for all your contributions to the bodybuilding community, 2 months ago my deadlift was 315 lbs, then I bought the old times fitness program and 4 days ago I finished phase 3 of the program. The very good news is I tried deadlift yesterday and I hit 375 lbs, it was 315 for 3 reps, 335 for 3 reps, 355 for 2 reps then 375 for one rep and I am very happy with the results after just halfway off the program. Thank you again.

So I have a problem with my lower back, and i wasn't squatting or deadlifting because I didn't want to make it more serious. Imagine your back hurting 24/7 all year round from the age of 12 years old. Then one week ago I took your advice, Wednesday 'shoulders and legs' I squat for the first time, I finish my workout, I come home have a shower making something to eat, I put the food in the oven and I sit down. I'm like "man something is missing" for 5 minutes. Then I realise that the pain is gone and I'm like "noooo way" for 15 minutes. Turning around left right standing up sitting down to make sure you know. Incredible just like that. Thank you very much guys!

What I like doing is one set to failure on isolation movements in full body workouts after my main compound lifts are done. There is no risk of safety when you're curling, lateral raising, etc aside from just having to put the weight down and stop. But failing on a bench press or squat, for instance, does have risk.

I fell for it as a silly 18-year old because HHH was the athlete used in the add, so it got me pumped hahaha. It was called MetaCuts, from Weider/Metaform. I shifted to Hydroxycut a few years later and that was thankfully the end of it.

I really don't understand what these guys are talking about in my own experience. I have always had to push myself in every workout to extreme limits see significant head turning muscle growth. I've always gone to failure for the most part and on the rare occasions I'm not going to failure on any particular set It's within a couple of reps at most. Did that just rest when my body tells me I need to rest. If it's chest shoulders and tri day, But I'm too tired then I'll wait longer. I mean at the end of the day, hypertrophy is only happening out of necessity. You have to inflict enough intensity upon the body to where your muscles have no choice but to grow bigger. And that doesn't come through casual workouts. At least not in my 27 years of bodybuilding.

My ideology is; never go 100% in training. Training is to get better. To develop to mind and body. You only go 100% when during your “sporting event” or when an actual life or death situation is happening in real life. Saving somebody, carrying somebody, picking up something to save somebody etc.. that’s when you put your body on the line. NOT during training. Training is supposed to help you when those actual life situations happen.
