I won MAPS Powerlift a while ago in the KZbin comments and the first time i ran it i was able to get my squat up to 325 for a 1 rep max from about 275. My deadlift went from 430 to 475 1 rep max. My bench went from one hard to do 205 1 rep max to 2 reps of 205 no problem. (my bench sucks). I'm currently running it a second time this year and i can feel all my lifts getting stronger. I'm eating at maintenance this time around (2800 cal), last time i was about 3600 cals a day. Results with your program has always gotten me wondering what else i could accomplish with my training. Thank you for the Black Friday deal! I purchased MAPS anabolic advanced to follow up after running Powerlift and i will be doing so in a small surplus (3200 cals). I CANT WAIT! Any advice on what to run next would be fantastic! You guys rock!

I had Dorito's 1 time this year, because the vending machine had one bag stuck, and it looked like I could grab a 'buy 1 get 1 free'....😅the entire workplace thought the same. The only sold-out product in that vending machine was the blue doritos 😂

I think what exercise your doing is an important factor . I firmly believe you could do light side laterals with sets of 15-30 to failure just about everyday and accumulate zero to very low fatigue . You do Romanian deadlifts to failure once a week your going to build up a ton of fatigue fast and other muscle groups like your lower back will be fried .

57:00 July It seems you're describing issues related to scapular winging and discomfort in the rhomboid area when performing rows or shrugs. Narrow your grip during rows and shrugs to keep arms closer to your body, reducing strain on the rhomboids. Keep them always close.

I plan on buying a maps program for black friday, but I am not sure which one to get. Maps starter since I'm just getting back into building muscle or Maps anabolic? I don't currently go to a gym but use kettle bells at home. I'm 40, 5' 11", 280lbs and have hashimoto's.

Hey guys! Been listening for a couple months now and I love the content, but I feel like a lot of the info or hypotheticals you give for certain training or diet methods are more aimed at slightly out of shape people trying to cut down or bulk up. I'm 32 y/o, 6'1" and 390lbs. I have well over 100lbs (or more) to lose and I'm struggling to figure out what works for me. Would love to get in contact or a call someday and chat. Keep up the great work you are truly helping countless people!

A couple years ago I told my son my car will not start or will turn off if we do not have our seat belt on. My wife did not know my little white lie so when my son got into her car and she started it he said hey in daddy's car we can't start it when I don't have my seatbelt. I told him it is because my car is faster. Now 2 years later he still puts his belt on and doesn't question it. He is 5 btw. So sometimes a little white lie is good lmfao.

Can you do an episode on what to expect when cutting and recomping. I feel like there are so many ups and downs that people don't know are normal that discourage. Recently I've lost about 50lbs over the last year and the last 20lbs I lost 4 inches around but somehow lost definition and it baffles me. Defined abs to very little definition. And my body fat percentage went down from the last 20lbs so I know I lost fat and not muscle...so why is there less definition!? I feel like there are so many nuances like this that people don't know but you guys have seen for decades

Gen X was absolutely not the last generation to be “tough”. The examples y’all gave were something I, my older cousins, and essentially all my classmates experienced. That’s Millennials and I’m the first year of Gen Z. I’m sure it has more to do with class rather than generation.

Stick to reps and pumps and spare me your socio-economic philosophies. In basketball and music, the player and the musician are the product. Without them, there is no industry. It's apples and oranges compared to most business models. The ratio of CEO pay and golden parachutes in comparison to average worker salary has grown exponentially over the few decades.

@DB_Muscle2 ай бұрын
HIT training prevents injuries because you do way less of the total work for the same growth stimulation. That been said HIT is not magic and you have to do as much as you can recover from in order to progress and to use progressive overload just like as you would with volume training. Also for naturals like myself HIT workouts stimulate massive testosterone production compared to volume training which is just mindless labour and stress for the body. Go at any gym and look: 99% of the people there are doing the traditional volume training, having no gains whatsoever. If you want to be avarage - do the same boloni high volume training 😂

I think your example of the NBA player making more based on their talent wasn’t quite the same as a CEO making more. The more precise comparison there is the owner of the team and the CEO. Sports is the unique example of almost complete meritocracy. In business, meritocracy rarely exists. When Steph makes 100M+ it’s not even a drop in the bucket compared to the owner of the team. Similarly, if an hourly employee gets a dollar increase, it’s a small fraction of a CEO’s salary.

It’s so sad to see the state of our country’s food. We are just praying the new administration holds true to their word and makes necessary changes. It’s so difficult trying to break our kids of their addiction to the easy go to foods that they’ve become addicted to. Even the “healthy” alternatives you find in stores are loaded with junk chemicals.

talking about training to failure and then getting into your neoliberal spiel (which is always a turnoff, stay in your lanes) is actually really ironic. Yes companies may get a short term boost by burning through employees, but that causes loss of talent over a just slightly longer period of time. Like think for a damn second, if you're a top performer who sees people around them constantly struggling, are you gonna think the company values you enough to keep you around if you have an off season, like an unexpected injury or car accident, or just lay you off. Are you gonna stay in a toxic, stressful environment or are you going to look for greener pastures.
