Even the head scientist at the time commented how it "didn't seem to like your remark." If it is force sensitive though that's seriously impressive considering Palp's whole deal is "so in tune with the dark side he can perfectly hide his presence, even from other sith." I mean the only reason Plagius even took notice to him was because he found it really strange that he couldn't sense anything from Palpatine.

One creature that you missed on this list was the Space Grazer. These were jellyfish-esque creatures that went extinct thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin, to the point of being considered mythical by the time of the Great Sith War. They were said to be capable of devouring entire planets, and the illusionary creatures conjured up by Aleema Keto at the Battle of Koros Major dwarfed the ships of a Republic fleet present at the battle. Granted, that's Legends continuity, but I think it's noteworthy nonetheless.

When it comes to on screen creatures, the summa verminoth from Solo feels the most mysterious. What’s it doing in the Maw? How does it get food? Where did it come from? Is it attracted to shimmering light like fish(probably)? Was it really asleep? That scene was crazy. It gave off a feeling of doom both for the creature and the crew. In that long shot where you can see it’s length as it’s trying to get out of the gravity well. It’s just strange watching that futile effort all the while it’s still trying to eat the Falcon. Still focusing on hunger while being torn apart on a molecular level. It had to have felt pain when it reacted to getting caught in the well, and evidently I suppose it’s not that smart either. As monstrous as it was, it’s still kinda sad to see it die, having its skin get ripped off. It didn’t seem to react to that so it’s insides must have already been pulled out. Just a brutal scene though still exciting. The Galaxy is full of horrors, and that’s part of what makes it so exciting!

So glad the Crayt dragon made its live action debut. And since the video is discussing giant carnivorous monsters; the Shyyyo bird from Kasyyyk, and Gorgora from Dathomir should've been on this list.

I don't think you know what "sentient" means, the word you're looking for is "intelligent"

Thats how they are classified in SW lore, animals dont count as sentient beings for some reason, is wrong and mistaken tho

Also keep in mind that in MtG lore, the Eldrazi are not ever fully shown. Ugin explains that the full size of an Eldrazi is utterly incomprehensible.

Though they were sentient, the Star Dragons qualify. They were huge. Wish some novel creatures were here.

I remember renting star wars books from the library at school and reading about all the lore. They were like big picture books with lots of words too. Your KZbin reminds me of this. Subscribed 👍
