I think i was in the most haunted house in NY, huge beautiful Victorian home. I saw a ‘little boy’ who looked like he was crouched behind the bathroom door holding something in his hands hiding from me, and in the same weekend a black figure of a maid in the maid’s quarters wearing a big puffy dress. I’m never going to forget any of the feelings of such darkness. The basement had a doorway that was cemented off. The history of the house had a house fire.

I researched the Hinsdale house and an article said one of the biggest misconception is that an excorsism was performed, an exorcism is only performed on a person not a house, they did a cleansing though!

Yeah, a good cleaning always works best. You should also develop good habits like taking out the garbage, washing the dishes, that sort of thing. For the really demonic spirits, try Pine-Sol. Of course, it might be you or somebody else living in the place. That doesn't mean you need an exorcist. Try some mouthwash first. And if you've got a terrible smell of death in the house, for God's sake look for something that died! Check underneath the house. All sorts of things crawl under a house to die. It's perfectly normal, and they smell terrible. I swear to God, kids today don't need ghost hunters -- they need a decent education. And if you're not a kid, there's not much you can do. Maybe hire a maid.

Been to the hinsdale house. I live 15 minutes away. Didn’t see or hear anything. Also we don’t have any really dangerous animals. Very few bears and they aren’t aggressive.

I live 10 minutes away from this house. I’ve been there several times. Once some friends and I spent the night there, we did ouija board stuff and tried to have an experience. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. The house was abandoned then. Someone had bought it and was planning to use it for haunted tourism. We went up there several times before we had to pay for the privilege. It’s not haunted, a family lived there for years with no complaints. There is no vibe or feelings on that property. Not in my experience at least.

I live less than 10 miles from this place and have been there MULTIPLE times and taken many many pics and have never seen anything out of the ordinary there. It’s on McMahn rd (might have spelled wrong) in hinsdale NY.. It’s now a roadside attraction that’s lost its ghostly appeal

Tiny little town. I’m from the town next to it. In high school me and my buddies kicked the boarded basement window in and went into it, up the stairs but the door was locked so we went out and walked around outside by the pond and pines out back. But can confirm, it does get pretty dark out here in the backwoods of ny 😂
