If someone called guru is only expecting his or her feet to be touched and can't let go shishya then I don't think that is a real guru who dispels darkness. Otherwise these days anybody can use word guru, even modern teachers in India feel flattered when their former students call them guruji. In fact, they are tutors who impart manual of information collected by data gathering.
