The pyramid concept house boat appears to be a little bit more stable for all weather conditions, plus it’s the most stylish design in my opinion. If it’s raining, the option of floating a smaller boat into the lower level of the house boat, without getting wet, is a great benefit. So number 1, is absolutely number 1, in my opinion.

I liked them all but of course no 1 was the most interesting, love they have options for solar panels and water intake for fueling and battery life. Its a whole new world.

It’s truly amazing that there are a very select few that get to enjoy luxuarys such as this. Then there’s the 98% that all they do is work just to survive!

Hard Knocks a lot of these started around $250,000 that’s the cost of your average home. I think the prohibitor is that it’s unconventional living

Some very nice ideas. My favorite was the one with the coral aquarium in the lower level bedroom. I have to add though... the cherry on top was the pretty girl with the beautiful eyes at the end.

Rick Goodwin just have to be a dumb perverse adult male, why are you damn old males, not men, such perves, I’m a 35 yo Man and I sure as hades don’t call attractive women cherrys, nor do I even look at them, they’re another human being, man up, stop making guys look bad, men are supposed to be leaders and role models to others, not sewage trash like yourself! Man up, stop being a worthless pervert! 👊🏼

# 5 seems to be the most practical of them all. It offers less glass than the others and can be expandable. It looks more like a regular houseboat.

#1 and #2 are awesome the one with the basement aquarium is amazing and beautiful.. wow gorgeous design the the pyramid one is amazing because of its design makes it so that if water gets on it it just trickles down and not get inside and it's amazing design it's just it won't capsize that's what's need about that..

My company owns a failing marina in a pretty good area. I’m wondering if the marina house/town concept might be a worthwhile idea to look into.
@timhodgetts18086 жыл бұрын
Kevin Kent why not? Standard land prices keep rising, but unless land is being reclaimed, property on water is a creative use of the space and it’s very attractive. Good luck!
@MentalCatalyst6 жыл бұрын
It absolutely can be. Where, approximately, is this marina located?
@kevinkent63516 жыл бұрын
Mid-Atlantic. Not sure how a floating house does in the winter.
@MentalCatalyst6 жыл бұрын
Inland (upstate), fresh/still water? What kind of dock system? If floating, and ice or rough water is an issue, do you pull it? Does this marina provide winterizing services and off-season storage?
@Thunderbyrd.6 жыл бұрын
I assume the do fine, they are in many areas that have winters, brutal winters, like Alaska, British Columbia, Lake Union Seattle WA, these have entire communities with floating homes, they are so cool, seem to be upper income type places too. If you have a failing Marina this may be just what you need.
@Butterfly-ee8vn3 жыл бұрын
My favourite is the Pyramid house but I wish all this floating houses will not affect or pollute the ocean. I wish there are more greens or plants in the floating house.

What happens to these houseboats when extreme weather comes along? Are they mobile enough to move them out of the path of hurricanes and the like? How well would they hold up if they get caught in a bad storm?

@Darkness85365 жыл бұрын
If those can be strong against hurricanes, then #1 can be the best out of all of them. Still liked #2 better.
@edwinacrenshaw78945 жыл бұрын
Beautiful, but how does these floating homes hold up in a storm?
@kimballr355 жыл бұрын
This is a good question...I believe they hold up as well as a ship, a yacht, and a boat does......depending on the severity of the storm and whether the owner storm proofed the HBoat.....The HBoats are / & can be permanently anchored with enough slack for excessive waves....But please don't quote me on any of this.....just my guess..

As soon as they make more affordable flying vehicles that could fly you to land to your car and back will make these extremely popular, i’m making my own for lake living, that completely submerges when not in use, or in inclement weather, with floating connected air intake and exhaust for a/c and heating and floating solar panels! Just need something that flys to get to and from land 😏🌴👍🏼
