{{3}} Great review! I totally agree with you. The Rockstar sounds like an amazing e-bike with impressive power and durability. It must be thrilling to ride it through various terrains and weather conditions. I'm glad to hear that you love it so much! By the way, I recently discovered a new crowdfunding project called the freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. It offers innovative features like indoor charging, which allows you to recharge the bike while using it indoors. This could be a game-changer for those who want a seamless transition between indoor fitness and outdoor exploration. Exciting times for e-bike enthusiasts like us!

Wow, I just found a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike! This video got me hooked from the start with its amazing features. The fact that it can be charged indoors is a game-changer for me. And let's not forget about the impressive 80Nm torque and top speed of 20mph. The 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires are definitely a plus for conquering any terrain. I'm also blown away by the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature, which not only helps with fitness goals but also rewards you in games and challenges. Count me in for supporting this outstanding e-bike project!

I have an Ancheer electric folding mountain bike for 4 years. It cost me $400 at the time. It has front back suspension, all terrain 26" tires and good range with different levels of peddle assist to pure electric drive mode. They go for $700 now. *Please do a video on E-bikes under $800 US.* The bikes in this video are great but more like an electric motorcycle, heavy and expensive. Nothing wrong with that, but a light weight inexpensive Electric assist peddle bike they are not. Thank you for video. Well done!

Ebikes below $800 do not exist. If they are below $800 they are crap and wont last more than a couple seasons and will have all sorts of repairs to hit them. A good quality Grade A battery pack costs $400. You cant build the rest of the bike for that amount and have any profit. Its a NON-starter.

@@DatGuy960 You ignorant chump. The Ancheer 26" Folding Mountun E-Bike, Aluminum Frame, full suspension was great. I rode it a lot for 4.5 yrs and sold it for more than I paid, and battery was still strong. Current price is now $760 to $800 at Walmart, Ebay, Amazon and direct from their Website . I took a small tumble and ripped the battery bag. It was still usable but wanted a new bag. Ordered it and came quickly. So what the F are you talking about. The quality, value, performance was good. So FANCY eBikes with hype sell for $2000. The Ancheer is a bargain and good value. They have several models and a website. I liked the folding feature of mine.. It was strong and allowed me to throw it in the back of my hatchback. With aluminum frame it was fairly light (for ebaike and full suspension). So you are wrong. No do your chores so your mom will give you some allowance. One day you can own an E-bike.

Imagine a standardized battery E-Pack, like 6 or 8 stacked "D" cells that are used by all electric bikes and available at E-stations for exchange. E-bikes and E-motorcycles using the same E-Packs! Where an E-bike uses 1 or 2 while an E motorcycle may use 10. These E-Packs drop into housings sized to each vehicle's energy needs. The "Station" has charging facility for 1000 E-Packs that can be installed in any 2 wheeled vehicle in minutes.

Granted it's pricey but for what you get it's the best buy in performance. I have about 400 mountain miles on my bike. Many miles of extreme inclines, rocks and mud. It just rocks. Dual suspension, discounts brakes and dual motor controls are sweet. Oh, I broke 36 mph too. Rarely go that fast but can if I want. There's no way I could buy one of these bikes, they're too expensive for what you get.... You can get a Brand new Razor rsf650, Mx650 or sx500 for about $500 then get an Electro Braap 6000w kit for $1200 and it'll be faster than a stock Sur Ron. Just look up Sur Ronster on KZbin and you'll see what I mean... You can also get the Razor bike and get a bigger rear shock and fork spring upgrades for about $100, depending on what shock you choose, and get bigger rims and a QS 273 3.5t 8000w/20kw max hub motor, Kelly controller and 96v battery which will make it go about 80mph. 😁

@mindseyedesign
@mindseyedesign 3 жыл бұрын
4k is twice the price of most of these bikes. A 4k bike should perform twice as good as a 2k bike. 4k or 2x the price is hardly a little more money. Sur-Ron X Black which we just featured in a previous video has 40 miles range, 3 hr charge time, 2000W, 45mph at $4100. The #5 bike here (Sinch) $1600 20mph 750W 40 miles range 4- 5 hrs charge time and it folds. #4 (Sun & Fun) also folding. Not a big deal but important to some. $1700, 31mph 80 miles range. The (24/7) $2k 31mph also up to 80 miles range. The (02) same specs except has a 1000W motor for $2700. The #3 bike for 2k (Stark) 28mph, and 100 miles range, 750W, 6-7 hr charge time. #2 at $2.2k 30 mph, 70+ miles range, 1000W. #1 Rockstar at $2.9k, 28mph, up to 60 miles range. Comparing prices and specs I wouldn't say the Sur-Ron blows any of these bikes out of the water. Worth mentioning is according to most state laws on e-bike classes, the Sur-Ron at 45mph is legally a motorcycle.

I'd love to get me a eBike. But for what you get for the price. They all seem way over priced to me. Maybe eBikes are kind of like when Flat Screen TV's first came out, just wait a few years till the price drops before buying one. I maybe wrong about that. But at these prices. NO THANKS

I have been mountain biking for over 30 years and bought a number of bikes over that time. With bikes, it's all about the components. A basic derailleur for example might cost $40 while a bulletproof design can run up to $500. Same with brakes and rims and shocks and cassettes, etc. If you want something that will last and not breakdown, you need to spend a minimum of $1500 to $2000 for a non-ebike. Now add a battery and a motor, controller, display, wiring ... you can see that you quickly get up to 3-4K with a standard frame etc. Prices of basic bike components have not gone down, they have gone up and will continue to over the years.

If it looks like an unconventional bike in any way, you will stand out on a MTB trail and once they see its an ebike, they will likely pull you off the trail. ebikes are being banned at trails all over... Get the one that is most stealthy.

Like all these bikes but my budget is limited and most if not all despite their features don't match my primary need which is low weight in order to get the bike up and down a long flight of stairs. All other factors are niceties compared to this key factor. Folding is nice for space considerations and to get a bike into a vehicle but weight is the true consideration when it comes to transporting a bike up and down stairs....... especially longer trips on stairs or multiple flights in cases where one is in the second floor or worse still higher. I call these types of bikes Apartment Bikes.

It is very heavy. I'm sure mine is close to 90lbs. Plus you need to be tall to ride it. The seat with the dropper post is quite high. I'm 6' and its kinda big for me. I love it and ride it almost every day. I found a nice heavy duty bike rack on Amazon for less than $400 that will fit 4 ebikes. They have some around $200 for 2 ebikes. Not cheap but either is the Rockstar or quality.

Age doesn't have much to do with riding an ebike. If anything, they are great for seniors (I'm 61). If you are concerned about too much power you can get a 250-350w hub drive step through which gives you a smooth and reasonable amount of power. If you live in a hilly area, then a 750w to 1000w hub drive will work. You might want to consider a mid-drive motor bike that really excels in climbing hills. Good luck

Take the “rock star”, add an actual seat, instead of a piece of metal, a bit more style, a simple step through design for easy access, an available backrest, a 24” seat to allow the rider to sit where they want and rear foot pegs for another passenger, an available front basket, and you have the Addmotor Motan M-66 R7.
