Hard work and discipline pays back Eliud. You are a great example to the emerging runners. Congratulations on the Berlin record, just perfect. Thank you.

Without so much natural born ability, no matter how hard you train, its simply not going to happen. Just check out the Paris 2003 5000m World Championships race. A certain Hicham El Guerrouj was the heavily tipped certain winner. How disappointing, only 2-05 for your first marathon, WE CAN ALL DREAM I SUPPOSE Mr Kipchoge was a young lad of 18, and he became champion by a whisker. Train Train till the Cows come Home, but becoming World 5000m champion in such illustrious company without Gods intervention Its not going to happen.

He is walking the walk when he talks about self discipline. He is worth many millions and he lives in a very humble living situation. Not many steps up from his childhood life I would guess. Material pleasures cloud the dream I guess.

I feel like watching this eliude kipchoge interviews but again I fear because I am a kalenjin too,I wish to give him my English for this interviews,I fear that anaeza tuangusha in suit,the only thing we know to pronounce is 'metal',medal hatujui
@nahidabooko14464 жыл бұрын
Don't be ashamed of him because he is confide with himself. English is not his mother tongue as long as we can understand what he says all is well. People pay more attention to people who who are not fluent with a language or break the words because they want to hear what the next word will sound like. If you were to be interviewed with him people will pay attention to him. Eg. If PLO lumumba was to give a speech and waititu people will listen to waititu
