I am on a journey to greatness and have been feeding my mind with inspiring content. This talk was the best talk I have had the pleasure of watching on youtube. I resonated with this lady so much, after surviving an abusive relationship, being broke,homeless,suicidal, with more mental health conditions than a grocery list I am just done with it ALL! This isnt who I am nor who I was meant to be and I need to make changes because my young daughter is watching me. I have never heard of this lady but she has certainly "stirred my soul "sitting here on my couch all the way across the sea in the UK. It is time for me to use my story as my fuel not my fortress. At 31:48 to 31:11 I burst out into tears. I really needed to hear that. I moved to a whole new state a couple years ago to start a new life, trying to find financial stability, just a whole new start. The opportunities are here but I feel extreme guilt by leaving my family behind whom I miss and love dearly but reality is I was not happy or in a good place back home, mentally, financially, spiritually. A couple years and a move later I'm still not good because even though I made the physical move the most important thing was for me to ALSO work on me. To build me up which hasn't been easy but its no coincidence that I stumbled upon this video. I've been praying to God more than ever for clarity, help and guidance so I can finally get my life to where I need it to be on every level and most of all be happy and at peace. Lisa once said sometimes its lonely while you're trying to live in your purpose and figure your life out and this is true...but Id rather go away and come back better in every way possible and whether it's meant for me to move back home or stay where I currently reside ATLEAST I'll be better than before, successful, happier, more at peace, have more clarity and truly happy and alright with me. This was a very moving session and I'm glad I watched it. Thank you, Lisa, for the gift of your truth, your story and your experience. 🙏🏽 There are a few things that really moved me and stuck with me from this: * Cognitive Dissonance - this blew my mind and also made me really uncomfortable because this is the very thing that I don't do (because of how it mentally disturbs/disrupts me) and yet it's actually the very thing I need to do: see myself in a way that is beyond where my behaviour currently is so I can become the woman I truly am. * "Your 70% is 159% to them" - that point really blew me away because I never saw it like that. Too often I see what I don't have and I definitely seek to be perfectionist about what I do and share and yet, the truth as Lisa spoke it is that what I regard as my 70% is far greater in the eyes of others. As she also said, people don't need my perfection. It's my imperfection that they can connect to and relate with. Some yes, YES content and some very stirring words from Lisa Nichols! ❤

Wow I needed this. I was just telling someone that I didn't feel like me anymore. That I felt more like a character I was playing instead of me. I felt like I was too young to know who I was, that I hadn't found me yet so my feeling was invalid, but now I know that my feeling wasn't invalid that this isn't who I am & that I have to get up, go out, & do what I need to do to be who I am fully & unashamed. I've struggled all of my life wrestling with the nagging, relentless thought and feeling that I am wasting time not being who I was meant to be. I donated a kidney to my husband, 6 months ago. I felt a profound shift in my existence ever since. I knew I wanted to inspire others to donate. I have been asked by the transplant team if I would be willing to speak to potential donors every month as an experiment. In the last part of this presentation, she said, "Some people were brought in our lives to show us who we could become." Bolt of lightning. I know my husband is that person, and even though I will probably stink at it the first couple of times, I also know I was meant to do this. I just emailed my coordinator and agreed to do it. I took my first step into the light.

Lisa there are just too many words along with emotions to describe the impact of this message. Every word was powerful and spoke to me personally, but spiritually, I felt lead to share with you my first step in what I was willing to risk to step into my purpose. I didn't want to be seen, and was not ready to be heard, but I was obedient and acted on the leading of the spirit of God in me.
