I used to never speak up for myself or voice when I wasn’t happy with a service and then I became a mom and something just changes. You are the only one that can speak up for them so in turn I found a voice for myself as well.

Mindy, STOP!!!! Stop apologizing for speaking how you feel! you have every right to be upset about how your nails came out, YOU PAID your hard earned money for the nails, not to mention its supposed to be a great experience not a RUSHED one.. its not your problem that she had one person there with one helper, if they cant handle the crowd they should not be taking clients! Its their business and responsibility to make their clients happy! You need to speak up and say something and have them redone .. you need to stop apologizing for speaking how you feel .. I would tell them how you feel and get your money back or have them redone ... it doesn't matter how many people they had working (or not working), they should not have opened their doors if they didnt have the staff to take on the clients coming in (especially with it being the holidays) .... Go back, tell them what you told us and demand a redo!

This is exactly why I don't go to naul salons anymore. I always feel like I'm be rushed out of the chair and the work that they do is very reflective of that. Plus it's way too overpriced. I do home manicures now with press on's. But press on's have come a long way. Most of them look like you went to the salon.

I get the classy press on's online, not the cheapo ones but the real pretty ones and I use the good nail glue and I get so many compliments on them ... people think they are real. But yes I agree.. when people come for a pedicure or nails done, they are treating themself to a stress-free environment.. Mindy did not get that .. she needs to stop apologizing for how she feels ... she should go back and tell them how she feels.

same here. this is why i found me one nail tech and i stick with her. you can even find one local on instagram. then you build a relationship and are treated better. i refuse nail salons. it’s too stressful and never relaxing.

I totally agree. Let's face it nothing is cheap right now. We all work hard for our money. I had my nails done ,it's supposed to last 2 weeks. They were chipping after 2 days with a Shallac manicure. I called and they redid it for me. If something isn't right speak up!! 😁

That is why I quit getting my nails done. You pay a lot of money to get them done but I felt they always rushed and didn’t take their time with them. I always went home and filed them and shaped them better and they just didn’t do the clean up very well. I decided to quit wasting my money and time ti just to be full of anxiety and upset with the end result! So I understand!! ❤

this is my experience at most nail places. sadly. in general, the nail techs seem bothered by my presence and asking for anything. I just don’t enjoy it anymore. I would almost rather just do something at home and it’s so very expensive for not having a good experience. I am sorry you had to deal with stress at a moment that could have been a respite. 💗

@3:25 let it all out mindy! I'm the same exact way about my nails and when I was younger I wouldn't say anything if I was unhappy with my nails either but as time progressed it got to the point I couldn't stand spending all that money and not be happy with the results. My biggest pet peeve is not filing ALL my nails evenly. Sometimes I bring a nail file with me to fix them myself bc some ppl still won't do it right even after asking to fix them! lolol so your definitely not alone on the subject and have every right to speak up about it WITHOUT feeling bad!

You paid for a service, the service to get your nails done. You have every right to expect that get what you paid for and you have the right to be disappointed and you should in fact go into the salon and tell them you aren't happy. It's not up to you to worry that there was only one lady that's their problem. If it had been me I wouldn't have let them get away with crappy service. You aren't asking for something you didn't pay for, you are only asking for what you paid for. You paid for a manicure and you received a very sloppy manicure. Furthermore, if you don't tell them how will they know they aren't providing a good service. You made a choice to spend your money in their shop, you need to get what you paid for.
