It's still bad, There's a lot of room for improvement, cool he got a wr, but it's beatable

To be fair though, the point is NOT JUST to break the current WR, but also to secure it such that it's hard for others to break it. That's why speedrunners always say that line - because even though they broke the current WR, they still could've minimized the time a lot more had they not made some of the more subtle errors. Also, yeah, they beat themselves too hard over the simplest errors.

Endermen don't spawn as often so he got pearls via trading lots of wood to villagers for emeralds to trade for pearls. In 1.7 he just killed endermen that spawned naturally. The stronghold is also farther away and I believe nether fortresses are also harder to find.

Ender fight is no longer RNG, fighting mobs has been properly balanced and no longer relies on how fast you click the mouse, but how well you can deal with each mob, sprinting takes less hunger , healing is faster but takes more hunger,...
