This is time first time in almost 30 months that one player holds 2 main RSG world records. The last time was in April 2021, DoyPingu held both the pre 1.9 and 1.9-1.15 WRs. Ontricus has held the 1.15 WR with several WR runs for 549 days starting on April 16th of 2022. Can someone explain a few things to a speedrunning noob? 1. How does he know the location of the lava pit? Are the stones the giveaway 2. How does he get the location of the stronghold from only one eye? 3. How does he figure out the location of the portal room with the FOV change? is it entity counter, looking for silverfish? Nonetheless, incredible gameplay. even I can tell that :D Congratulations!

The stones are the giveaway for lava . He used a calculator to find the possible locations for strongholds using 1 eye and got lucky that it was where he dug down . And with the fov change , he looks at his pie chart to find the direction of a spawner and there is a spawner in the portal room .

The FOV change is for making sure the spawner is in a certain chunk since spawners are entities for some reason
