Minecraft 1.3.1 Ocean Seed

I created a new world with large biomes, used no seed and it dropped me in the middle of an ocean with no land in sight !
This is minecraft survival at extremes I thought, swim for your life !
I used /seed to check wich it was and started a new world while recording,
again the same result. haha have fun trying it out and let me know if you reach land !
