Ocean physics only works with Sodium and Iris while Continuum only works with optifine.. so it won't work T^T

No. The 4090 is much faster and Nvidia cards by nature are much better for ray tracing and Minecraft shaders. Doesn’t mean you can’t run shaders and textures but will not be anywhere near level of 4090

You can probably do it with like 512x easily, not sure about the 2048x. With that high res its recommended that you have at least 32 gb of RAM (otherwise I think it just refuses to launch).

​ @kddhd9704 I don't think there's any connection between the performance of Minecraft java shaders and which GPU now. I'm on a RX 6700 XT and can run the majority of shaders at high FPS (with some high res textures on). This wouldn't have been the case a year ago because the OpenGL drivers on AMD (used on Java) were slower than Nvidia but new drivers really improved it. Also java shaders with raytracing don't use the raytracing cores so the performance should be similar on both sides. Nvidia would win if it was bedrock using RTX (due to the raytracing cores on Nvidia) but this is just a Java shader so it won't be much different.
