1.16.5 Note (1/26/2021) Just built Farm #2 (the iron farm) and had some frustrations with a villager sometimes popping out of their pod, no longer able to sleep and turning the farm off. After some troubleshooting, I got it to work by placing slabs on both sides of the trapdoor facing the Zombie, and now the villagers are staying in their place. Hope this helps people get this working for themselves!

There’s also a way to access a trade with them which will bring them closer to you which you can repeat over and over again till they are at your house but that only works if they have a job/profession

Brendan McCandless I agree. Use silentwisperer’s latest iron farm. It’s not really cheap for early game like you can do in Java, but it works very well and 1.16 for bedrock fixes the slow iron golem spawns, do now you get pretty decent rates. I’ve build it twice in separate vanilla survival realms.

The iron farm is the most compact I've seen, excellent tutorial. In 1.16.3 you have to cover all of the beds with trapdoors and carpets or it breaks. Also, for getting the villagers up there you just need to build a block staircase and they'll pathfind to the beds.

i don't think he mentioned it, but the reason you make the roof of the creeper farm out of trap doors is because they prevent skeletons from spawning, which require a full 2 block clearance to spawn.

quick tip for the iron farm- i found that by making the top platform where the iron golems spawn bigger, it makes the iron golems spawn easier and its not as slow. (remove the walls and replace with a solid block and fill the corners)

I’ve seen you place cats 3 different ways on the same farm. On the floor, on a top half trap door, and a bottom half trap door. Does the placement of the cat vertically really make any difference? The kitty’s line of sight is off of its chest when sitting so I figured it didn’t matter but yeah-thoughts?

Does not matter!! Kinda lol What iv found is, If you place it on the floor, when the creepers get scrambling they maaaaay move the cat around. Placing a trap door over it stops this but creepers who spawn RRIIGGHHTT beside the cat wont get scared till they move a block away (The trap door blocks line of sight) So placing the cat ON the trap door.. anywhere.. floor or half way up.... Stop them from moving the cat and still give 100% Line of Sight!

After some trials and tribulations I think I finally got my iron farm working! A couple of tips from me… * I gave up on getting the zombie in the cauldron and just had my rail drop the minecart I was moving him onto the cauldron. * Apparently you need to place trapdoors and carpets over the heads of the ends to keep the villagers in the center. Perhaps that was a change in the game since this was published? * If struggling to get the villagers to stop bouncing you can use a piston to move that first block into the area they keep bouncing into.

Google for Village Finder... get into your current Game. Type in /seed. Take the number that occures. Press F3 ..many Info appears. In the middle of the left side of your screen are x y z coords. Take them aswell. Dont forget the (-) if there is one. Type the seed number and the coords into the Village Finder. A map will be shown.the red dot is your position. There are other dots wich are villages. Hover your Mouse over one of those. Beneath the map apear the coords of it. Note them. Back into your current Game move into the direction of the noted coords. (With F3 open). I will remind again: its importend if there is a -... X - 100 is another direction then X 100. Go find your villagers and become their God

I built the Pillager grinder exactly as shown. Problem it the Pillagers are bouncing when under the lava blade and burning up. I get some drops but I'd guess from another farm style I'm losing almost 60% of drops.

Thank for the Tutorial. But i found something out about the raid farm. The farm has to be somewhere where there arent so many obstacles. I made it where there are alot of trees, and the pillagers and etc. cant find there way to me.

I think he doesnt know villagers can now use composters, so these kind of farms dont work anymore :/

These (supposedly) don't work in bedrock. Saw this in another comment. Some people may find this and it may save them the effort of making the farms.

People should just know that if title doesn't have bedrock or the video clearly shows that it's java to not even try it and find ones build in bedrock
