Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet but I think the reason why the grass item particle shows up as grey has to do with how biome colours work. By default grass (and other blocks affected by biome tint) doesn't actually have a colour, it gets coloured based on the biome it's in. Or presumably if it's in the inventory it just gets the default green, idk how it works exactly but I've been experimenting with texture packs lately and I've run into this issue with a lot of the plant textures. Thanks for the video, this was really helpful!

The portal one is for nether portals and the reverse portal is for the respawn anchor, the first one goes from the outside in and the second one comes from the inside out

You can make these particles do their animations by increasing the speed value in the command (same as for the nautilus particle)

16:10 I'm really sad you didn't mention the fact that nautilus particles have a custom animation when you give them a speed value that is over 0... example command: /particle minecraft:nautilus ~ ~2 ~ 0 0 0 2 100 force you can try this for yourself if you don't already know what this looks like, but it definitely is one of my favorite particle animations!

I don't remember where i've seen it in Minecraft, but I have a very nice memory of having a Star particle effect, where you have yellow glow and stars. I just can't find it anywhere :(

Well, pardon me if I don't understand what's troubling you, but there's nothing stopping you from simpling "spawning" the particles inside of the block. For instance, if you were to place a glass block beneath yourself, you could simply do: /execute align xyz positioned ~ ~-1 ~ run particle dust 1 0 0 1 ~0.5 ~0.425 ~0.5 0.125 0.125 0.125 0 50 force and the particles would be "trapped" inside of that glass block. Pair it with a repeating command block/datapack, and voilà! You have yourself a block with particles trapped inside of it.

Hello max... some feedback, these "all the minecraft _________ in the version ____!" are really boring! Now, I'm not telling you to scrap the series... so maybe like become a little exciting... you mostly sound like the uninteresting grandpa... this is not me hating... this is me giving just some feedback... although, ngl, the particles are cool!

Them being boring is subjective to you. I find them interesting and informative, it is exactly what I came here for and it doesn't try to be something it isn't. Easy, straight to the point, efficient, and up-to-date. I propose that instead of just saying that Max "sound[s] like the uninteresting grandpa", and that he should "maybe like become a little exciting" (which, by the way, isn't just some switch you can turn on in your brain), you could instead leave some *actual* constructive criticism, like for instance that he could've put more work into the video by preemptively looking up the various questions that he asked during the video and explain them to the audience (These questions being things like the difference between the portal particle and the reverse portal particle). And sure, don't get me wrong, there could have been some better clarifications here and there, especially since it becomes evident that Max's knowledge about the game when it comes to these little details is rather surface-leveled (as shown by the decolored grass in the item particle that is due to the grass' default texture being grey), but I, and probably the majority of the people who found this video, definitely didn't come here for those sorts of details.

I've always found his videos interesting because these types of videos of max are like the hub of everything of that type.
