For anyone whose bridge doesn’t work, it’s not because you missed a step. The button extends and retracts the piston and the observer sees it as 2 block updates which then confuses the whole machine. I found that using a lever helps with this problem because the observer will only see one block update and best of all, both levers can be flicked to the same sides and it won’t break the build! Hopefully, that should help!

I've done this build twice now following persily everything you do in the tutorial and I can never get the right side to work in sync. Think of right and left as the thick side of the build.
@russhard283 жыл бұрын
It's almost like the right side isn't getting redstone activation, but everything works with a lever.

Never mind on the above comment, I redid the build today and it works flawlessly. Keep up the great work, I am loving the Redstone builds. P.S. I would love to see a 3-5 wide retractable hidden staircase that is 10 tall. Been trying to figure it out with no luck.

Does it work on Pocket Edition? Every time I press a button it goes into the bridge, but when I go to the other side it doesn’t retract that good. I have to press the buttons on both sides a bunch of times until it gets to its actually closed. It also happens when I go to extend the bridge too. I just placed a dropper over the trip wire so every time I want it to open it drops dirt on it and it works fine, but I’d still want the actual machine to work
@TheBowTieMan4 жыл бұрын
Yeah it should do! It sounds like you may have something wrong with the t-flip flops 🤔🤔

I need to make 4 of these, and 4 of your 3x3 piston doors for my base. Time to grind for redstone
