The Hunter java is the better version though, the whole appeal of minecraft was always the community which bedrock is lacking, no mods even skins which everyone used to make themselves are now paid for, bedrock feels like a cash grab. Having played both, bedrocks controls are clunky on pc, the creative menu is atrocious why not use the standard, the lack of things like f3, no being able to see chunks, the worse Redstone, crafting being just a bit off. It’s clearly not a pc game, and the things that would to be added would be impossible to do off of computers. It’s fun to be able to play cross platform but it lacks too many features

7:29 I play on bedrock edition and the way I farmed for every music disc was to use a piston trap to trap a skeleton, then I set up a piston trap and would lure creepers into them. After that, you would basically hide from your trapped skeleton behind the creeper and the skeleton would still target you, therefore, hitting the creeper

Pumpkins, eggs, and sugarcane farms are great for pumpkin pies. I have all 3 and I makes me them pies boy! They help alot and I tend to see great hunger results with pumpkin pie. It's a hassle making them at first on survival, but I make compact, stackable pumpkin and sugarcane farms, and the chickens just poop the eggs in a hopper so that's simple. All in all, to me they're a great good source and I usually make these 3 first.

I'm not sure why you ranked sugarcane so low since you can mass produce it with bone meal. And paper is a great early game trading material. Plus, the farm is fun to build, it's really cheap, and is really helpful in learning how to use redstone. Is there something I'm not getting about pie? Is it a meme I don't know. My girls love pie so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe I'm going to have to build that gold farm. It looks stupid epic. I'd probably put the blaze farm one higher as well. It's my go to for quick mending. And pretty much my entire world runs on blaze rods. That being said I don't yet have a kelp farm. As for the guardian and raid farms, so freaking epic. Those are no-doubters. Regardless, fun video.

Thomas Knox My sugarcane farm disagrees with this statement. I get all the XP trading with librarians needed to enchant and I also get all the emeralds through the librarians to get diamond armor, tools, and weapons off the other villagers meaning I never need to mine again (if I set up a blaze farm or other) but sadly we still need iron and those farms are gone quality wise. Anyway unlimited diamond items and experience all comes from sugarcane! It’s really useful.

There is a way to obsidian farm, and it's very simple, but it's only 2 player (to be fair you could just use split screen, so forget that) go into the nether, and have a bud in the overworld. Once you're in the nether, have your friend in the overworld break the nether portal. After, go through the portal on your side and voila, a new nether portal spawns, making an infinite source of obsidian

For bedrock endermen, dig a 3x3 hole like 70 blocks deep on an island, make a room underneath for chests that is 2 high, with a grindstone and enchant table. At the top of the hole place a layer of trap doors, with an endermite in the center, open the trapdoors. They fall down to a one hit kill everytime

Looks good bud, and it's mostly because of your R&D we get to enjoy these farms. I have a few comments: 1. As useful as wood is, automating it isn't worthwhile since explosions from the Wither or TNT doesn't yield much of anything. TNT can't be easily duped either. I feel like wood should be a 'B' or even a 'C.' 2. Sugarcane should be at least 'C,' due to rockets and upgrading librarians. 3. Cactus is a good throwaway item for storing XP in furnaces so it should probably be 'C' as well. 4. Chicken should totally be 'A.' Is there any other food source that's easier and also better for you? Maybe pie, but that's three farms rolled into one. 5. General mob farms have been the bane of Bedrock's existence for a long time, but Prowl found a brilliant way to avoid making a perimeter altogether, and you get both cave and surface spawns. This bumps the general mob farm to at least a 'B.' I hesitate to put it higher because it's very resource heavy and is probably a late-game project- after the usefulness of a general mob farm wanes. But since I built it, I've never needed to grind for gunpowder, ink, or bones. Again, thanks for your time spent designing all these farms! I enjoyed this video and you're definitely the expert.

I made a semi-auto emerald farm in the earlier part of the game where I had a zero tick sugarcane farm that would produce around 1-5 cane per second and then I would gain a ton of emeralds by trading the paper to my massive hall of librarian villagers.

I've done a simple phantom farm. First build a linked nether portal not too far from gold farm. Build a glass room several blocks away from the zombie pigmen gold farm and AFK there. Phantoms will fly into the nether portals so you can go in the portal (from the previously linked entrance) to take them out.

I'd say that cactus farm can be useful if you are gonna need a lot of dye. I have also found out that with just white dye from bonemeal, double tall flowers, cacti and lapis can be able to create all of the other dyes existed in the game (except gray and black), which is helpful if you need a fast and convenient way to get the dyes in large quantities.

Need to place witch farm in A/S tier. A bit of work to get going, but I now have mine working. Between 1600-2000 drops an hour. Pretty equal between the drops. All the glowstone and gunpowder you could need.

Fortnitegaymer The third does not work. Fishing on bedrock is different from Java. You would need an auto clicker that clicks slower than holding down a trigger

ThePurpleBlade Khan honestly I took Philza’s advice. I don’t need one because it’s time consuming and takes away from the game. I just fish when it’s raining and eventually it gets redundant. You can make Silents villager breeder/trading hall for all the books you need and Foxynotail’s guardian farm for xp. Both are better and faster ways of getting what you can from AFK fishing.

@Thomas Knox yes that’s the thing. Bedrock edition is literally every other Mobile or console edition with a bit of difference. Java how ever has way less bugs and really is better when it comes to running the game. Bedrock is still good don’t get me wrong tho

We made a raid farm on our server and put a trading hall underground in our item storage area and the combination of unlimited emeralds and the way you can force villagers into perfect trades has made this the most OP setup in the game so far.

Agreed, slimes spawns are like the last spawn the game tries, so you need to spawn proof at least half of your spawning sphere.

2:22 Sugar cane E tier?! Should be A or B tier. Even without 0 tick consideration, it’s used for rockets yes, but paper can be traded for emeralds and used for books to get the enchants u need from ur trade hall. Those enchants are a game changer. 3:42 Kelp and Bamboo should be A tier at least. Kelp is used in experience banks which are the fastest ways to gain levels and heal ur gear in the game and it’s not even close, especially considering the effort to make one. Bamboo is an unlimited afk fuel source that is also used in one of the best blocks in the game, scaffolding. I have a bamboo machine hooked up to my super smelter and experience bank. Never have to manually put fuel in. Just flip the switch when they run low. 5:25 Passive mob farm can be fully afk. No breeding, just animals spawning and dropping into a kill chamber. Gives u leather, wool, food, feathers, etc... fully afk. Definitely A tier EDIT: 6:22 he brings this up, but u just build high up into the sky. 9:14 Def S tier. Nothing changes the game like getting the best enchants on your gear. The gap between unenchanted diamond and fully enchanted diamond is gigantic. They also provide resources that may be tough to get elsewhere. Like clerics giving redstone, glow stone, ender pearls, and lapis lazuli. Or how u can purchase diamond gear with emeralds (renewable) instead of diamonds (non renewable).

6 months later... Kelp is over in the Java only camp. Creeper farms are a reality (but expect a few spiders). Raid farms work... kinda mostly, Pigman farms got even better with forced update portals, and iron farms, i dunno, pound for pound of invested work bedrock comes close to the old java door based farm, but just dont expect that more work will equate to a better farm bc thats about the limit.
