Two things, you need to show this to MerelyAdequate on TrulyBedrock. He was trying to do this for his build. Secondly, bee nests should generate a redstone signal due to the bees. So you could theoretically separate them out of the birch logs and send the logs to a blast chamber. MaroonedSpud did something similar with the mangrove roots.

You did it! And it looks like it may be slightly faster than growing rows of trees. Nice job!

@@MerelyAdequate Not sure how practical it is, but it is effective.

Was literally looking for a bee nest farm yesterday and you provided

There really isn't a fast way to do this. This does work though.

cool have bees inside right???
@oldrusty815712 күн бұрын
Yup. Some do get out, but they usually go back into another one.

perfect for my sky block

@mikehomer the rates are low, but it does work reliably. 5% chance for a nest per tree grown.

i just need one LOL i tested in creative take some time but works
@oldrusty815712 күн бұрын
@mikehomer you may need two. Sometimes only 1 bee will spawn in a hive if you're unlucky.

so a glorified tree farm?
@oldrusty815711 күн бұрын
@SuicidalDave25 Yes, but only because that is how you get bee nests. It's optimized for bee nests, and runs slower than a normal tree farm because of it. They are the same as getting shroomlights. It's a tree farm, but you're having to make delibrate changes to it for what you're after.
