@@hengli5061 it takes 3 iron blocks and 4 iron ingots to make an anvil. Each iron block takes 9 iron ingots, so that's (9*3)+4=31 ingots. Not very expensive considering you can find iron fairly easily from a cave (even a year ago, just need to get lucky), but for someone starting out it can be very expensive

For people that don't understand redstone... Think of redstone as a way of wiring, everything needs a direct redstone connection. Pistons, lamps etc. Now, redstone torches, they act like redstone blocks. They give a consistent power unless a different power is connected to the block that the redstone torch has been placed on. Repeaters can bring back the connection back to 16 blocks and/or can be used to delay the connection. Observers are pretty easy to understand, they detect block updates, such as redstone being powered/unpowered. If you put a button directly on the observer, it will send 2 signals, one when the button is pressed, second when the button reverts. Comparators are kinda self explanatory, they compare stuff and can be used to make redstone signal extenders and can be used to detect how much items are in a chest/hopper/literally anything that stores items. A t-flipflop turns buttons into levers. A signal extender is self explanatory. It extends the life time of a redstone signal.

Me as thumbnail: 10 seconds: 4x4 hole in the ground, trapdoor as entrance and a bed. 1 minute: 4x4 hole in the ground, trapdoor as entrance, bed, crafting table and furnace (a little bit of systems from the entrance). 10 minutes: (same of others) +A better looking, decoration, changing walls materials, floors too, a bit of command block systems, more decorations, rooms, the necessary, a portal too nether (+a tb command block to a fortress) and a tp to the end portal.
