I don't do modded, but this looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait to see what you do. Btw, the glare is a useful mob - it's one of the ones that lost to the allay - helps with lighting caves. I have no idea how you get it in Better Minecraft, but it's got to be worth finding out.

Nice video! I think that modern Minecraft is in this weird place where there are too many features for it for feel nostalgic, but not enough feature to make it feel grandiose like how mods do. I look forward to the rest of this series! :D

New subscriber❤ Here's some tips for better Minecraft: Sleeping bags don't set your spawn, but they're pretty great for the first few days of exploration none the less. For the Plains biomes, you need to check the ground often because there WILL be wild crops scattered about. Such as asparagus which are great sources of food for the first few days. Always try to stick near spawn for food if your in a plains biome, usually it comes plentiful. You'll want to get a temporary base started ASAP because there's quite a bit of Loot to be had in modded Minecraft. I usually collect enough stone for a temp stone house for the first few nights if I don't have a sleeping bag or bed, it helps~

Hey, great to see you checking out modded (the rabbit hole goes quite deep). For storage solutions I believe in newer versions of the pack, simple storage will help you, allowing you to create a warehouse of chests that all connect to a single interface (to make finding items very simple

Great episode. Beware the weeds in your crops, they will take over if you don't stay on top of them. Most of the animals that are dangerous in real life are dangerous in better minecraft.

I found your channel and was curious if you would be interested in joining an SMP that is all family friendly content creators? The world is currently on 1.20 and has been up for over 3 years. Long term infrastructure and mega bases. It's called Lucid SMP. I'm relatively new to the server myself and we would love to add some like minded people who are doing content like we are. We use proximity voice chat, one player sleep, etc. Basically all the vanilla+ stuff hermitcraft uses.

Honestly didn't think I'd say this but I'm glad you died in hard-core now because that build looks exceptional and I know this is the just the tip of the ice Berg. Absolutely banging mate.
