Story theory: I’m guessing these “phases” are tests for something. In the regular world, people are ruled by an terrible and unruly king. He forces the players to work day and night on his palace, and don’t give his subjects any time to care for themselves. I think whoever’s putting Evbo in the noob/pro/hacker world is looking for an fair ruler and put Evbo in some sort of “simulator-coma”. Whoever’s doing this took worthy volunteers from villages, and put them in simulator-coma, testing them to see if they are worthy of being ruler. But that’s just a theory, this is probably not gonna happen.

Indeed, it seemed more like conditioning that was trying to reinforce some sort of hatred in Evbo to get him to minecraft the villagers without question, but he already didnt like them. Why would they need to reinforce this if what happened really happened and would have no benefit in betraying them, also that potion that made him see the villagers as they truly were could have just as easy been a potion to actually make him see normal players as villagers, or maybe admins? hackers would be alot more willing to fight if they thought they were fighting oppressors and not goodstanding officers

As a hacker myself (In 2b2t and stuff) This is funny, as your basically describing a namesnipe of (hacker) then obtaining bedrock which requires so much hacking in order to backdoor the server and change data in providing yourself with this. Which in a regular server, people wouldnt be getting freed from some weird stone vault, instead they would be getting 32ks and wreaking havoc.
