I love how 99% of the time when Jardon is trying to land a crit, he doesn't swing until he actually lands on the ground from his jump. In this map, he ACTUALLY SWINGS ON THE WAY DOWN FROM A JUMP! Progress has been made bois!

fun fact following the left/right wall method doesn't work in circular mazes where the end goal is in the center and you start outside. or you start in the center and have to get outside, this is because a maze like this can have disjointed "loops" (walls that loop back on themselves when following their wall) there is another method that solves this problem (kind of). pledge method, you pick a direction and go in that direction till you hit a wall, after that you keep to that wall and start with the number 0 in your head, and any turn you make clockwise you add 1 , any counter clock wise turn you subtract 1. when you reach back to 0 you stop following that wall and keep heading the direction you are facing. However this method only works if you start inside the center and not outside. there are other methods that work better than this one, but those require materials that can be placed or used to mark stuff in the maze. So the map creator is awfully cruel by having a circular maze with disjointed loops and starting you outside with the goal being the center and giving you nothing to use as markers, because there is currently no method that someone has come up with that can solve a maze in that kind of situation.

Even in a circular maze sticking to a singular wall does work you just have to keep in mind if you get into a loop then you go to the next section and stick to the right wall again it's that simple it will work every time it may not be the fastest method but it will work

My guess is it would have pulled a Stanley Parable been telling you to quite over and over again and then would have given you wonkey directions like "fine you want to go for the achievment it won't be easy you have to step on these exact tiles in this exact order to trigger some resstone command to open the door, pressing the "credits button will reset your steps if you started on the wrong tile".... Or something you literally just have to wait it out until it goes "fine I will let you through the tutorial after you stand here for 10 more minutes".

To get the cookie you have to sit in the spawn room after clicking the sign for an hour and 15 mins. i did it... it took forever. The last diamond is at the top of the diamond room, there are barrier blocks to parkour on to get up there.

There is a scoreboard objective that tracks how many times you left the game. That is how it knows when you rage quit.

You could also use the load function in a datapack, it's triggered when the datapack is loaded, and datapacks are unloaded and reloaded when entering and exiting a world. That method is a bit more simple though.

Just so you know, when you have a maze, just pick a wall, and follow that wall. If you come to a dead end keep following that wall (as it now goes around) and you'll eventually find the way out, as long as the walls don't move or anything.

This is not always true. If the maze isn't one long wall and has multiple areas that don't connect, you may circle around to the same point without finding an exit.

@@obsidionwarrior1343 Yup, which normally isn't the case when the exit is just on the opposite wall for example, but when the objective is in any location somewhere in the middle of the maze, you indeed won't be able to find it. That is also the difference between a labyrinth and a maze: you should be able to see the entire labyrinth by following one of the walls, while that isn't the case in a maze.

While that is often the case for your normal mazes you hand to children to solve that is not always the case if there is an island anywhere in the maze you can end up getting stuck going in circles if you stick to one wall. So while yes a majority of the time it is a good strategy and is often how you program programs to solve a maze there are exceptions because you can have islands inside of mazes in which case sticking to one wall once you are on the island you can never leave. I am not going to bother drawing the maze he had to do to see if there were any islands, being a "rage quit" map I wouldn't be surprised if there where 3 islands, 1 on the way to the center, 1 at the center and 1 on the way to the back wall where that split right at the begining 1 way goes to the center and one way goes to the back wall as such you would have to deal with 5 islands to solve the maze, 1 on the way to the center, 1 to enter the center, 1 to exit the center properly, 1 going back to the very start, and then 1 last one on the way to the back wall.

There's a map-maker created achievement where you have to beat the map without quitting. To ensure this is even possible, that would have to mean (if the creator is a decent human being, anyway) that the map maker would have had to do it as well.

I think it probably had to do with Cap's video. But I was lucky, they actually sent me a copy of the map zip file through the chat. If anyone still needs it, reply here. And when I see said reply. I'll attempt to post a google drive link with the file for everyone to get. However I would far prefer it be downloaded from the link in the description of the above video, so the download counter for the map on the site it links goes up!

How did chat have it so backwards? It's not "follow the right wall" it's "follow the left wall." The reasoning has something to do with how humans process information, and how we're more inclined to do one thing in opposition to how we might usually do it to make a puzzle like a maze. Following the right wall in a maze causes more failures than successes for this reason, too.

Is it not just that by following *either* wall, you will eventually walk around the entirety of the maze and thus find the exit? It might take a while, but you’re essentially following the entire squiggly line.

Yeah, if it is a disjointed maze, or a normal maze where you have to reach the middle, hugging any wall won't work as well. However, if it is a traditional maze, where both the entrance and exit are on the outside wall, then hugging a wall regardless of which, will work.
