Boosfer, I may be overthinking this and it may be somewhat difficult to actually do in a challenge like this, but if you have a grindstone you can remove enchantments on items you won't use and gain Experience. Then, you'd be able to combine good enchantments in an anvil.

This is a small detail, but I have always wondered why more people don’t do it. When boosfer had the hole with all of the armor and he was about to swap, rather then just covering the hole, he distracted away from the hole by placing more blocks, which in turn makes it undetectable unless you know what you are looking for
