Today I play Minecraft but whatever Twitch Chat says spawns! This was inspired by dougdoug's video where he did this same thing but in Skyrim.

The trick to getting chat to spawn more than just 2 types of mobs is, make the chance of spawning each mob different. Things like bees and cows are guaranteed with every message, most simple hostile mobs have a 1/5 chance, the trickier hostile mobs have a 1/10 chance, and all boss mobs have a 1/100. This way, the chat will be divided between spawning a few stronger/more dangerous mobs, or just cluttering your world with massive amounts of weak or harmless mobs, and that division will reduce the total amount of dangerous stuff while still having the opportunity for other things.

Well, the lesson learned here is to kinda make chat vote for a mob, so typing in chat name of the mob adds a point to the progress bar of that mob. And when the bar reaches full, it will actually spawn a mob.

Something that would've been smarter than completely disabling the annoying mobs is adding a risk factor to spawning these mobs. Like, if a message that says "Dragon" is selected, it would instead run a 50/50 chance between spawning the dragon and killing all currently spawned dragons. This would also make it idiotic for anyone to attempt spawning MORE dragons if you got to the end. You could then have a 30% chance for this to occur with ghasts, and so on and so forth if you encountered any more annoying mobs. Would've been fun to see but whatevs.

You’ve done this a few times, but I feel like it would be fun if you added in the giant as a beginner’s trap, where it fits the roll of big strong brute meant to entice new people even though it’s pretty bad, except in this case it has literally no AI except for that one time in 1.14 and also during 1.7.10 or earlier.

You should make it to where a mob has to be typed a certain amount of times before one spawns ( 10 zombies in chat = 1 spawns ) Make dragons like 100.

It would be cool to do this but with beneficial potion effects enabled too. So chat could spawn ghasts and dragons, but could also give you speed boosts, jump boosts, fire resistance, et cetera. Then have chat fight between helping and hurting.

If I made this the list would have mostly unconventional mobs. Full list idea: Armor stand Stray Rabbit Sniffer Wither skeleton Husk Drowned Parrot Ocelot Snow golem Squid Bee Silverfish Shulker Dolphin Tropical fish Bat Primed TNT Evoker Allay And as suggested by another comment, each entry will have a certain chance of actually activating. For example: Rabbits, bats and silverfish will have a 100% spawn rate. While wither skeletons, strays and sniffers will have a 50% spawn rate
