the coolest thing about this mod is how you can see the wither storm from up to 10k block away from it, makes it really ominous when it´s really far away

Okay, idea: This mod, but you disable the wither storm getting a hole in its head. Once you summon it, it's there forever. You can't kill it, only run from it. Survival Horror Minecraft server, baby, everything you build will eventually be destroyed once the Wither Storm catches up you.

I mean all you'd have to do to achieve this is use crafttweaker to disable the Formidibomb recipe. That's what progresses the phases to the one with the hole in it.

The wither storm revives itself after an hour of being blown up without being touched. You could use the bomb to disable it for an hour whilst you farm stuff.

Thing about that is, the wither storm accelerates a lot if you are too far away, getting to the point of traversing thousands of blocks in a few minutes

You can change settings on optifine to be compatible. It says on the mod desc i thino

Yeah this mod has some visual conflicts with optifine, but I just instead used oculus and rubidium. Those two mods essentially do what optifine do but with less conflict with other mods. I also used a zoom mod and a nofog mod so I wouldn't be missing any features from optifine.

I have an idea on how to make the Wither Storm even more fun and dangerous since the Wither Storm is basically a mobile biome; why not put a Sculk Catalyst on its side and kill a few mobs on it, then bring the Wither Storm back to life so that when is it eats some mobs then Sculk infection will make the Wither storm grow faster and stronger then maybe eventually make some flying Wardens.

How did you guys manage to get a stable TPS on the server? When Wither Storm is far away (for example, a couple of thousands blocks), TPS reduces significantly. It is 6-8 TPS, and this is unplayable

I made sure to give the server 5 gigabytes of ram and I limited the server view distance. My pc's also pretty good so might come down to how fast the cpu is.

a lot of people w this mod go 'is it moving towards us'; use tornado logic. if you're looking at the storm directly, but it doesn't appear to be moving in any one direction... that means its coming towards you.
