For the rat one the rat king is a real thing.. it happens when there's such a huge infestation of rats that in their nesting area due to all the climbing over each other, feces etc at some point their tails start to become tangled and basically glued together until there's multiple rats all bound together by their tails. They are referred to as rat kings for some reason. I've only ever seen one rat king in person and they had already all died by the time I found it in my grandparents old farm house they sold before my grandma died
