Things from farmers delight are very useful, they make great foods! Cooking pot especially. I love the mod a lot! You can do a lot with it including breaking armor down into the material it's made of so dozens of extra armor sets aren't as useless (such as leather armor)

Looks like a cool mod, I think I'm going to try it out. Another good trick for Cactus is to place a block next to it, similar to how auto cactus farms work it'll get destroyed.

I haven't played it myself, but I feel like breaking a cactus with an item in your hand, such as a block of sand or a dead bush stick, shouldn't damage you. I might be wrong though.

ohhhh so the creator of this pack played some terraria before making this. The cactus armor had me suspicious, but the extractinator really confirmed it for me.

There are a lot of Minecraft mods that are based on Terraria things. The cactus armor is from the Tough As Nails mod -- the one that added the thirst and temperature gauges -- and the extractinator *is* based on the one from Terraria, but was not made by BBL (or it probably would have been included in their Opolis Utilities mod).

Sand cannot hold heat, it reflects it all during the day, which makes it hotter, and during the night, there is nothing absorbed being released, so they get very cold. You can also add into that the lack of humidity and other factors too.

here is a idea. Dig a two deep trench around your base. put trap door at ground level, open them. then the mobs with walk into them and not be able to get out. when you need to get out, close the trap doors and just walk across or jump over the one wide gap

this modpacks brick blast furnace has interesting thing(may be bug but please not fix it). vanila blast furnace are double speed of blasting ore, and double speed burning of fuel. so if you blast furnace with one coal, it just cook 8 item(like normal furnce), but only take 40 second(half time(nomaly one item take 10 second)) but brick blast furnce are double speed cooking but not double speed burning, so one coal it burn 80 second and it cook 16 item.

I know this is a tangent, but why does it seem like every modpack that includes a death mod, the death mods ignore curio support? Is the API that hard to code for, or is it something personal? It's been well over a decade now and they still refuse to work with the mod, even tho it's highly popular in almost every modpack and the only modpack I know of that's ever had support has been Enigmatica (in which that created their own death mod for). I don't think it's an immersion issue because they're more than willing to auto equip your entire armor set. Really sticks out to me and I always run with keepinventory on or remove it from the pack because of it. Just doesn't feel right having to re-equip curios every time / not having enough space, when I actually do.
