This is really awesome! Though, I kinda wish you had done this with Bdubs. This really seems like a B-Team kind of adventure, especially considering the time you guys made that old country western town, Mudbucket, and had a duel to the death with a clock tower and everything.

You can use command blocks to detect players within a certain area, that's what I would use rather than a command block above the NPC's head.
