I had a similar idea, but instead of a killable boss, the player would solve a puzzle while avoiding the Warden. When the player solves the puzzle, a trapdoor drops the Warden into a pit and the player/s move on.

i dont have unique recomendations, but if you want and if you can, buy the ultimate dlc bundle, because you will get all the dlcs (including the hero dlc) that you dont have, and this will be cheaper than buying all the dlcs separate
