@@yunizaraudit9831 tbh it might've been because of time and budget but I believe that if Flames of the nether had the the wither as the main boss the ambushes would've have wither roars and I believe that the Wither boss fight would've been the same as the the regular boss fight in normal minecraft but it would've had some uniqueness like for example a shockwave attack and it could've summoned wither skeletons and armored variants wither zombies wither necromancer wither wraith wither skeleton vanguards wither skeleton horseman and possibly withered variants of the spider creeper witch slime and siverfish plus it would've had an awesome soundtrack and defeating it it could've droped wither armor and maybe a wither sword or bow. And maybe if there were illagers in Flames of the nether the story could've been "the illagers have traveled to the nether to continue their evil deads but one of these was creating the most dangerous creature the wither to wreck havoc on whatever it comes upon.

In older versions of the game (before the end dlc), some mini bosses would occasionally spawn stronger and with a boss health bar instead
