Minecraft Endventures: Episode 11 - Here Be Dragons

Some people have complained at the Endermaster's personality being inconsistent. This is a valid point, but there's also a valid explanation. See, the Ender Crystal is messing with his brain, making him evil. So when his usual self says "I wanna go home" the evil part adds "Sure, and we'll take over the world while we're at it!" And while he loves his daughter, he is also very strict because he sucks at raising children. He thinks discipline is the best way to raise her. Though as hinted in the video, he is going to understand eventually that he needs to change strategy. And can you blame him for not being good with kids? He used to live with Villagers, and they only stay kids for a few minutes. Not much of a chance to learn how to take care of them properly.

Now that the 1.0.0 pre-release is out, your animations have gotten a whole lot better! I find you being really good with using particles and the choice of Royalty-Free music was awesome! I kind of think the idea of a giant robot fighting the Ender Dragon was a bit silly but even the fight itself stood out. You are just too talented for Mine-imator! I loved this episode! I like how you've done the Endermaster's backstory, it really adds to his character. I also really liked the parts with NoBrains and Click-clack. All in all, a great episode. Keep up the great work

Very good Episode! Even with missing voices, I still like it. It adds so much character to the Endermaster.

i agree, but i see alot of flaws with him too. he is out of character alot. let's say there are 3 kinds of villains: 1: One without any feelings at all and only do things for his lust for power. a example of this is how the enderlord mercylessly enslaves the endermen and decides to raise the dragon as a tool to keep having control. 2: The one not openly showing much feelings but do have feelings for certain things, that he priorities more than his goals. a example of this is how he loves his daughter and don't wanted her hurt. 3: The villain who do things and is driven by his feelings or a ideology, and in some cases don't even think that what he is doing is wrong. a example of this is the endermasters desire to come home. Now the problem with the endermaster is that he tries to be all these things at the same time. for example he loves his daughter very much, but the aproach he does because of her not being ready to enter the overworld doesb't show any love for her at all, which makes him feel out of character (especially since he would have punished her for NOT being ready in a earlier episode). He alo just wants to come home but in the same time wants to enslave his home, this doesn't make any sence either.

10:43 this doesn't really make much sense, the first second he is a normal human, and the next he just enslaves people, then he misses the overworld, then he wants to enslave it. it just feels so unmotivated. he just became evil out of the blue and without any motivation for anything at all. also, at 11:27 he admits that he loves aundrie (or whatever is her name because i never seem to catch it) as a daughter, but still he have several times done acts that doesn't make sense considering those feelings.

This episode was interesting, in a good way. It focused more on the human side of the endermaster, which was something I was not expecting. And that robot fight was one of the coolest thing I've seen in mine imator. I just hope all the voice actors are there next time around, it's a bit awkward having some one talk to some text.
