Those are some great ideas, I have a couple of my own to pick out. 1: a defiance system, something just to slow or stop monsters from reaching your bace, something as simple as a moat, or maybe an arrow launcher. 2: a launcher for yourself, in case something gets into your bace, you can activate it and get launched out of your bace to get to another location like…. 3: and bunker for in case a monster gets into your bace, then you can escape and get to it to be safe. Maybe these will help with some problems

You know, I think what a good horror mob design needs is like: wait for several in-game days, allowing the player to feel safe without any creepy scary stuff happening (give it like 4 to 5 in game days) and then day 6 to 8 have the creepy noises of the mob but like very far away, and then on Day 10 the horror mob spawns in. You need to make the player feel comfortable and safe before the horror mob spawns in, and that way it adds to a “false sense of security.”
