20:15 Frozen is based on a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tail called "Snedronningen," literally translated as "The Snow Queen," or "La Reine des neiges" in Fench. So French actually has the original title, while English has the changed title.

Except that it's just loosely based on that fairy tale, it's not an adaptation - the plot isn't really similar to the original in any way. Having the title identical to the original therefore seems misleading, as one might expect an adaptation.

Mr Bean definitely aired in the US, it was on HBO and early morning PBS in the 90s. Used to watch it in the mornings before I went to elementary school. Fun Fact, Mr. Bean ran for 6 years yet only had 15 episodes total. Also he intentionally made the series physical comedy with little to no dialogue so anyone could watch it without language barriers which worked as it has aired in almost 200 countries since its debut in the 90s

In Dutch "pat & mat" is "buurman en buurman", Which translates to "neighbor and neighbor" and they exclusively call each other neighbor, so this was my first time seeing their actual names and it took me a bit to get that one

The general answer to "why is one of the names much simpler/more complex" is probably copyright. Kinda like how Zootopia is called Zootropolis outside of the US

French and russian official locals generally make no sense. In half the cases translators just drop the original text altogether and right a new one they think is better (in 99.99999% of the cases - its not) and in the other half of cases the just throw a machine translator at it, so... yeah. It's a very common case for a movie to completely lose its title.

Pat & Mat looks like a claymation cartoon that ran from about 1976 to 2020 with 130 episodes and a movie or two. So like decent sized but still niche.

Shawn the sheep is a spin off from Wallace and Gromit a close shave it follows the adventures of the sheep that got Shawn (and his flock) in the movie after being kidnapped by the evil robot dog then rescued by Wallace and Gromit there's also a spin off of Shawn the sheep which follows his son? oh wow I'm surprised at how well I did at the animations, I even jokingly said "Mat and Pat" without knowing it existed... but now googling it I did see a post about it yesterday on Reddit, so maybe some subconscious stuff. Also "oggy and the cockroaches" I was like "oh it's the one with the cockroaches". Aaand also ones like Phineas and Ferb and Kung Fu Panda and stuff.
