Minecraft: Hours Of Rocket Jump Pain

Thanks for playing my map! I hope you had at least a little fun. To be honest, the playtesters had almost no time with the last three levels. The reason is 1.19.3 changed something with explosions and prevented a majority of jumps in the entire map from even being reworked. This was super demotivated and figured I would just release the map as is, so people would at least have the opportunity to play it. In my opinion the rough draft of stage 5 turned out pretty good! (Yeah, stage 6 and 7 maybe not so much.) I have gone ahead and updated those stages with a bunch of extra checkpoints, as well as making some jumps easier and/or more clear what the intended strat is. Also, I was a super big fan of yours 8-11 years ago. Younger me never would have imagined I would have made a map that you'd play, (let alone dislike haha,) still super cool though, thanks again for playing it!

So I just tried playing this right before watching the video. Not sure if it was because I was using a trackpad or because I suck but yeah it was extremely frustrating. The jumps where you have to fire multiple rockets to maneuver yourself around were especially frustrating so I ragequit and came back here to watch Sparklez do it. Edit: So I've been watching it in parts, completing a section and then seeing how Jordan does it. There are some sections where I've died like 100 times and Jordan's just cheesed around it. Not angry with him. Just angry with myself for not seeing how I could cheese it.

I think this map wasn't working properly, before you check in to each level it tells you how many check points there are and you had none, the pink stripe with the arrows toward the end I think we a speed boost that took you too a faraway check point but didn't work. This map was bugged big time!

The last one of the lab, with the three portal colors. Was it not possible to rocket jump over to hit the first blue from the top, then just drop straight down through both blue and yellow to the exit? Were the output blue and input yellow not lined up straight on top of each other?

It would be the shorter path to get to the other side of the cube, but the goal is to be able to get over the wall, and it's easier to get a good angle for the rocket off of the cube if you go around the right
