materials list: i modified a few things but these are the materials i used in my barn :). i kept the floor solid spruce planks and didn’t texture the walls, and i built 4 animal pens instead of just one. i also didn’t line the entire top floor with spruce trapdoors. stripped birch log: 230 spruce trapdoor: 135 spruce plank: 98 oak stair: 78 oak slab: 76 oak plank: 56 oak log: 52 spruce stair: 50 spruce fence: 32 birch slab: 26 gravel (for path): 25 spruce slab: 20 oak leaves: 20 birch plank: 18 lantern: 12 grass/dirt: 12 campfire: 8 flowers: 8 ladder: 5 hay: 5 spruce gate: 2-4 barrel: 3 chest: 2 tripwire: 2 chain: 1 crafting table: 1 blackstone button: 1

Absolutely loved this build! Wow! Super easy to follow! I was hung up at the beginning but once I figured out it's 10x13 not 10x12 everything went smoothly. Also can't hang lanterns from trapdoor anymore, at least on pc bedrock so just added a fence post. Thanks so much for the build!!

Let me tell you a funny story about this barn when I was building it, so this might be kind of a rant: Once upon a time me and my pea brain decided that I wanted to try a "Ladder clutch" on this barn when it came time to add the ladder. I failed and was sent ALL THE WAY back to WORLD SPAWN which was THOUSANDS OF CHUNKS AWAY. I was lost. It took me weeks of logging into my world in the morning, flying around on my elytra until I looked in my inventory and saw that I had a lodestone compass- (I finished the barn eventually and it looked great) (ˉ﹃ˉ)

I'm kinda late to this video however, when I was looking for a barn to build I had the idea to make it a zombie/walker hoarded barn inspired by the walking dead, I realised I liked the half open door better to my original idea to close it off completely (plus it's more accessible) So now, the plot in my minecraft game is, It was originally a place where zombies/walkers were held but someone opened the door and they got out (hence why they walk everywhere in my world) :)

I like this Barn the random parts that you adding gives a nice look to it same as the roof. It was such an Easy barn to build! My horse tried to escape from the stable. I think probably get a lead tie up the horse 🐎 up. He or she won't escape.

the overall build was nice, but there was no item count so me playing in survival had to go back and get more. And you kept going back and breaking blocks which is hard to do in survival

I absolutely love this design. I'm new to following tutorials and I'm having trouble with the trap doors. I can't hang the laterns😭 I tried spruce slabs instead. Didn't work... I tried spruce planks... Didn't work. I guess I'm gonna have to not use them:( I'll figure something else out. Other than my dumbness not getting the laterns to work. I'm absolutely in love with my barn. I can't wait to watch more of your tutorials and build more things:)

You can no longer hang lanterns that way, use spruce planks slabs instead of trap doors there and it will still look amazing!

So I know you’re supposed to crouch when you place things under trap doors but when I try placing lanterns under certain things like trap doors it doesn’t work, someone know why? :/
