Hey there! Today I'll show you how to build a Cherry Blossom Fantasy Cottage in Minecraft 1.20. Working with new cherry blocks is really fun, I hope you will enjoy this house tutorial as much as I do.

Could you do an amethyst house? Maybe with a rounded glass roof in the middle and a crystal tree enchantment room in the glass dome room :). An amethyst geode bedroom? There's so many things you could do with this con elf and I thought it would fit your style well

Those are very cool ideas :) it will be fun to build this in a let’s play! Tutorials are hard to make and they put certain limitations on what I can build for a tutorial. But thank you for such cool ideas. I might put some kind of Amethyst room in my next fantasy house :)

someone please help😭 i’ve spent an hour on this and I literally can’t get past the first two minutes. I measured out the base of it EXACTLY the same, but when the walls are being built, suddenly the dimensions don’t make any sense. I’ve tried redoing it like five times and it’s so frustrating.

Also I don't fully understand the placement of the cherry logs - is this actually cherry wood? (The log which is bark on all sides.) It wasn't on the materials list as that, but looks like it when you place it down for the foundation. Thanks! ^-^

Hey purple! I’m glad you enjoyed the build :) I understand your concerns with shaders, for longest time I couldn’t use them myself. But if you rewatch the intro, I have included the clip with no shaders ( first time ever ) I’ll think about adding more such clips, to include every one :)

You are right it is cherry wood. I use it for the convenience in the recordings, but I believe that with the right placements, cherry logs is more than enough and much cheaper material wise :)
