its probably due to poor translation, i dont know japanese but chinese has a character to soften requests to make them more polite so it's probably being translated to "please" even though the more proper translation would be to restructure the sentence

A friend of mine literally DID that in survival mode, complete with a farm and a huge mine. But recently someone got really evil and put 5 buckets of lava and it quickly burned down into a pile of stones. Still a mystery who put it. But one thing thing for sure, he regrets making it out of wood.

Neat. I love smaller builds as they look far more pleasing to my eye. Something that helps with creating space without increasing size is using trap doors for walls and railings. As the trap doors can be placed on either side of a block border they can free up space, but still maintain a certain look or effect. For instance, place oak trap doors on the outside of the oak fences where the balcony area is, then remove the fences. You'll gain the whole block space where the fence posts used to be and still maintain the look of a railing.

Mine turned out so cute! I added my own twists to it, so it more fitted my "style" and how the environment was, and I can proudly say im bulding this again. Instead of farming on the bottom, I put some road blocks and stacked some hay in the corner. I turned the side with the stone (I used cobblestone) into a eating and cooking area, and I put pots on the stairs. I made a bunch of other little changes, but still kept with the same design😊
