the dragon bone flute can be used to make any dragon fall out of the air so you don't need a bow. dragon command staff was completely omitted as well. tip 4 people new to this mod you are able to find dragon skeletons lying about the world, so getting some dragon bone tools as well as the flute is a very good idea before attempting to kill a dragon.

Also I recommend getting dragon scale armor from a tier 3 before attacking a tier 5.

@@valiantt4962 you get dragon bones by right clicking with a empty hand on a dragon skeleton. you find those by either killing a dragon or happening upon one in a dessert.

Ice dragons can be cheesed by another flying mount because in the air they will only shoot a ball of ice you can circle around the dragon and shoot it with a bow easily avoiding the attsck From experience dragons doing use their breath attack in mid air combat as of 1.16.5

i found a phase 5 dragon underneath a mountain near my base and my dumbass thought that i can prevent it from waking up by crouching so i can loot all the gold and chests but as soon as i opened a chest it woke up and killed me and it started going out of control until it surfaced out of the ground and literally went back to sleep NEAR my base

If you have two tamed dragons of different elements, would you be able to breed them and get eggs of both elements? Ex. One egg would be fire and the next egg would be ice.

You can only breed stage 4-5 dragons of opposite sexes and the same element. You can absolutely breed any four colors of each respective type though! From my personal experience, the eggs are more likely to inherit the mother's color, though this might have been bad luck on my part.

There is a summoning crystal you can make but you need to right click your dragon with it and store it somewhere safe so in case you loose it you can summon. You will have to right click again if you use it. Unfortunately it will not work I'd you lost the dragon before right clicking it

I found a stage 3 female dragon on the surface. If im not mistaken, they should drop an egg at stage 3. I killed it and guess what, no egg. Can you only get the eggs from stage 4+?

Yes only from cave dragons since all dragons above ground are max stage 3

You can actually breed wild stage 3 dragons if you don't feel like looking for a stage 4 or 5. Just a warning handling wild dragons is VERY dangerous.

UPDATE: I figured out how to summon stage 5, but i dont think the stats are stage 5. Also, they spawn females. I dont know how to spawn male, but here is the command /summon iceandfire:fire_dragon ~ ~ ~ {AgeTicks:3000000} If you want different dragons, just change the fire to other elements Ex. /summon iceandfire:ice_dragon ~ ~ ~ {AgeTicks:3000000} This will summon the ice dragon

​@@the_deino2324 actually there's an item to stunt a dragons growth, you need a dragon meal, 4 poisonous potatoes and 4 spider eyes, craft them and you'll get a sickly dragon meal which will make a permanent stage 3 dragon

Usually you won’t find any dragons in the desert, fire ones are found in the forest biomes, ice in snow biomes and lightning in jungles

@@Krypack mod was installed, it’s just that the lair was like 3-4 k block away from my home. I had like dragon bone sword and fire res splash potion, which really helped against fire dragon. Everybody should use fire res pot against it.

Also I recommend to use more rpg like weapons mod (or something like that don’t remember exactly the name) it adds class based weapons with skills, which also help with dragon killing

Sorry bro but the guide is meh. Wrong terms, no explanation about the dragon staff, nor how to acquire dragon meals. These "caves" are called dragon lair. And a lot of other important details are left out, especially when it comes to survival mode. Where drakes start spawning on the overworld, if the dragon tools are good, that dragons can easily destroy pretty much any block so if you build close to a dragon you're fucked etc etc. This guide barely scratches the surface and is pretty much useless in that sense.
