We are proud to present the cathedral of Imperial City, one of our largest and most detailed addition to the map. The outside was loosely based on the "Ideal Cathedral" designed by Viollet-le-Duc. The architectural style is gothic, with many decoration ideas taken from various French cathedrals, in particular Our Lady of Reims (find out more here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gothic_a....

I am beyond impressed by this. I have built a cathedral on a similar, if smaller scale than this, but… this one is just better. The vaults, the Pinnacles, the flying buttresses… Every element is there, and executed wonderfully. And that is ignoring that this was built nine years ago! It baffles me that this video does not have more views.

I'm building a cathedral/ castle myself and if you want you can come help. my username is master elpdin25 on xbox one. btw the cathedral/ castle is huge. the thing takes up six map chunks from bedrock to height limit. gonna add in some hidden underground passages/ caverns and shit
