Wirtual’s story about being 12 teaming up with adults for the Minecraft Hunger Games is so accurate to me. In 2012, I would have been 17- but I was playing World of Warcraft from the age of 10. I used to raid with people who were adults and even got accepted into adult only guilds just because of how good I was at the game lol The adult only guilds were not like… horny guilds or anything. Some of the more serious guilds would want to play with more serious players and they assumed that kids were not going to put in time to be good nor would they be capable of understanding the more adult social interactions. Which is totally normally true, but I’m just weird I guess LOL

If someone is expected to be able to complete a map, I think they should be able to at least get close to gold, with enough tries. AT being a standard for the better players, using more niche bugs and the like. Wirtual should not struggle to get gold medals, in my opinions. But that's all it is in the end, personal preferences. To each their own, it's good that there are people appreciative of both. Diversity is key to humanity.

If you wonder how you make somethin like this: You make a map in Minecraft, ported it into Blender with some ripping tool, port it into TM and then add the racetrack in the big Map model and retextured the track

That is exactly not how it was made :D Andone and I created a blockset + texture mod, and basically textured and imported every individual block to trackmania. Every block you see on the campaign was placed by hand! With the release, now youre able to use the itemset as well. No blender required if you dont want to use it.
