If a modpack has a specific design intended by it's maker, then you must state some of the fundamental changes on the modpacks info page. This allows the pack maker to design it how they see fit and informs the users of any annoyances they may run into. Having a troubleshooting area with fixes is an easy way for players to adjust the pack, without needing to comment.

I recently got into modded Minecraft. And man the whole “don’t assume your players know how things work” is so true. Almost every prebuilt mod pack I’ve tried was just a bunch of random mods stuck together. Like prominence 2 and BMC. There was no rhyme or reason. And I had to keep multiple tabs open to just look up what each major mod I was using did or what a specific item did. Which is fine. But it was so overwhelming and then there’d be weird keybind issues
@The_Azure_5 ай бұрын
Ugh, that keybind issue is literally in every modpack. Thankfully we can now filter by key, name or category. It used to be so much worse. Welcome to modded.
@gigglesgames14 ай бұрын
@@The_Azure_ yeah. I’ve learned to stick with some simple vanilla plus mods I’ll always use and then make one major mod my focus. IE create, bewitchment, etc etc. I also learned I don’t like villager things. It’s so broken lol. Like when they’re massive cities or more trades

the invisble spider is vanilla behavior actually! the higher the local difficulty value of the area youre in (which slowly goes up as you stay in an area), the more likely spiders spawn with potion effects! it can happen from like night 1 on hard difficulty. it is weighted towards giving invisibility, but they can also have strength so... have fun with that :P

as a diagnosed ADHDer there are a few ways it can affect your brain. hyperactive ADHD is your stereotypical, has trouble sitting still without fidgeting, poor short-term memory, trouble focusing if the task isn't engaging enough. innatentive ADHD flies under the radar as people who suffer from it don't struggle with sitting still, have less trouble with motivation, but still deal with short-term memory issues. both types of ADHD (from my experience with hyperactive and having friends with innatentive) go into a "hyperfocus" mode where they sort of turn off the rest of the world in favor of getting a specific task done. of course if any of this resonates with you i highly recommend seeing a professional bc honestly just having a name for the issues i had made them way easier to target and deal with. hope my word vomit helped!

5:51 The one thing holding me back from entering another 2 week (modded) minecraft phase is the prep. One too many stale runs and I'm spending hours finding, configuring, fixing, tweaking new mods that at the end, I'm too drained to actually play the game- and the next day when I boot it up, I'm somehow already bored and I feel like I've done nothing. Pre-made modpacks like yours easily fix that first problem (second one i'll get to in a bit) and a new version of BA would be sick. I feel most modpacks try way too hard or don't try enough, with BA being the perfect inbetween, and also perfect base/foundation for installing other mods on top of it since the prep of all the QoL non-gameplay or FPS stuff is so long and tedious. I also feel the effects of never having been a survival kid in minecraft. I've always played creative mode or on servers and that's stuck with me. And Now that i'm bored of those as well, I'd love to see a video on how laziness and impatience affects your early-adulthood playthroughs of present day minecraft, modded or not. I'm definetly feeling them, and I'm pretty sure it's not just me. The sudden, almost instant loss of motivation and inspiration as soon as you get the chance to become complacent with your world is way too strong to just be a me thing. And as always, Great video and i'm looking forward to your new stuff !

This made be play hardcore with my friends and we decided to make it harder (I didn't add all of your mods, the main hard part was First Aid, which replaces your healthbar with individual body parts). It made me sit back and relax farming and making foods with farmer's delight for my friends who just kept exploring getting me different plants for their food choices. One of my friends barely plays modded minecraft, so they were baffled by the amount of saturation farmer's delight's foods give you, especially the ones with beetroot in the recipe. 10/10 video.
