KZbin pushing clickbait drama videos instead of quality like this is a perfect example of what'a happening to the platform

I am glad I wasted hours to make this video because it just proves the point that the second you talk about drama, you'll get 1000x more views. CaptainSparklez struggled to get 100k views a video until he just jumped in front of his camera and talked about MrBeast, getting an easy 1.3 million views. These videos at least exist as a way to show some people that I've tried to make stuff other than drama. No one can make an actual living pumping out content like what this video is. Someone told me Steven He indirectly called this channel out, and I wasn't offended when I watched his video. It's sadly true, however, this is clearly not Try Not To Laugh Part 100, but, an actual video presenting Minecraft news in a concise way. No one cared.

@@cubedimensions It's a sign of the times and how vigorously youtube pushes drama. Clickbait is unreasonably effective in this day and age.

@@bobthegreattest The original 700k view DanTDM video got it's first 300k views through featuring the actual DanTDM tweet, while I did title that it was a "response" the thumbnail actually said what the real response was, he's was ignoring KSI and confirming to everyone who suggested on X that he was just spending time with his family. Sadly people love the thumbnails with the concise tweets with 999M views. However, I still have some drama videos from recently where I featured the actual tweet and people did show up because it looked WAAAAY more authentic than the fake tweets people make. People keep clicking on Pegasus videos despite the minimal editing and extremely generic titles/thumbnails. People are upset with him but they continue to come back to the man they mock in the comments because they trust him as a source of information. Also fun fact: One of the videos I made, which I think was the MrBeast apology video, was made 8 hours before one of the Pegasus MrBeast videos. He stated every point I made in his video he uploaded 8 hours later, in the EXACT order. His video was without the details that I had where I personally went to his actual job board myself without seeing anyone else do the research to find that he had "writers" on payroll for supposedly authentic content. I had the ability to call Pegasus out and chose not to because I didn't have much proof, he didn't copy me word for word, and I didn't want people to use what I said in a video as part of the hate train against him. Declaring war on Pegasus, especially with the chance that I was wrong, was something that I didn't want to be part of, and people are still going off on Pegasus today. He did not copy me word for word but, it was as if he skimmed over my video and then quickly threw his together, which he got the over 10x more views. I wasn't upset at this but, it was shocking when a viewer commented telling me that they noticed Pegasus had literally stated every point I made in his video he quickly uploaded after mine. That's just how that is, and, while KZbin drama videos are what is getting views. If I went the MisterEpicYT route, what is there to say that he or anyone else hasn't said? That Microsoft is greedy and that these larger KZbinrs run P2W servers? That's still drama to a degree, and MisterEpic has done a great job in his lane. My lane when I started this channel was covering other voxel games and no one happens to be interested.

Hilarious. I made this video, gets 100 views. I make a DanTDM video, gets 500,000 views the next day. I am glad I wasted my time on this video. It's funny that both videos are a day apart.

I love the youtube algorithm recommending people slop instead of actual good content. I know this stuff may not be earning you much money man, but it is SO much better than the dantdm video stuff

I am hiring an editor and found someone who can edit as good as me, but, he wants me to pay him, wouldn't even break even for any of these Minecraft videos I've thrown together. Many of these skilled editors that contact me through my sponsor email usually ask for $300 to make an 8 minute video. It's extremely tiring for me to edit these drama videos and, there isn't anything interesting to cover anymore regarding Minecraft. Maybe later in the future I will hire a team, like how Tom Scott likely had a team of people helping him put together his videos, but, for now, there is no reason to push out this Minecraft stuff if no one is going to watch it. I'd rather put 8 hours into a 500k view video than 20 hours into a 200 view Minecraft mod showcase

I decided not to push out a drama video today, because, while I have a limited amount of energy to push these videos out, I wanted to at least push out a more informational video this time. I don't know whether this video will do well, but, I wanted to take a break from all the intense videos I have pushed out. We'll probably get back to the DanTDM stuff soon because KSI continues to argue with himself.

This is just to prove that when I went and made something that had nothing to do with drama, no one showed up. The second I cover DanTDM, BOOM more views in 10 minutes than I got in 48 hours on this video.

There isn't any actual news other than his monotone response. No one showed up to my video and people barely showed up to the videos of the people who are a tier below Pegasus. This guy gets exposed for new stuff every week and people are sick of hearing it.

It's really sad that your videos like this one don't get pushed more, because I very much dislike the clickbait drama videos that actually exploded. I'm sorry if this comes off as rude, but I no longer follow your videos because I disliked the constant drama clickbait stuff.

I set none of my videos to notify subscribers, if I make a good Minecraft video again it should show up in your feed. Completely understood, however, I am not going to return to making 100 view Minecraft content. There is no point in making stuff like this if no one watches.

@@DiamondDepthYT I will still likely cover technical Minecraft stuff but that's only if it's actually entertaining and something I believe will get views. I am tired of covering cool stuff that no one pays attention to. You may stop following my videos but if I do make another Legacy4J video or another video on something no one else knows about, you'll probably see it in your feed regardless of whether you are subbed or not.
