I built this on the smp i'm on, and it looks sick when you add a little extra detail to the surroundings. overall for a house so easy to make 10/10 imo, its a perfect blend of aesthetic and convenience.

On part 1:37 I’m doing the top layout I got the very top 3 blocks wide and the bottom 5 blocks wide but it doesn’t look like that instead the oak log touches the slab instead of being next to the slab

idk if you like hearing constructive criticism, but being someone who needs to follow things a little more thoroughly, i got confused quite a bit trying to follow this - most especially during the roof and second floor building, when your instructions on the three-block pillars were the bare minimum. i adore your builds a lot, though! just perhaps show us more angles or put more specific instructions in words so people like me who have a hard time can follow more easily? :(

Can you check at 4:55 if everything is the right size? The spaces between the beams should be 5 on the sides and 7 at the top and bottom. If that's not the case, you should check if the beams at 1:34 are correct. At 5:10 the beams of the second floor should be built one block diagonally to the beams of the first floor, on the upside down stairs.

I would have liked to build this and I appreciate the style but this tutorial isn’t really working with the shaders. It confuses with what wood and it’s not too clear on what you have to use seeing as text is only used in a minor part of the video. The angles used by the “camera” really mess up how you’re supposed to build it. Apologies but this is my opinion
